Chapter 11

***Stella's POV***

"Mommy, why I can't go with you?" Jason asked from my bed as I was getting ready.

"Because only adults will be there." I said and he frowned.

"Then why aren't you going with daddy?" He asked and I sighed putting the curling iron down.

"I don't know if he is going to be there." I smiled at him. "And you know that I always go to that kind of parties with uncle Matt." I said curling the last piece of my hair.

"Daddy is not going to be happy." He said shaking his head and got off the bed and walked up me as I unplugged the curling iron.

"Well your father doesn't decide for me." I said as he stood in front of me laying his head on my thighs. I picked him up and sat him on my laps. "Are you sleepy baby?" I said and he shook his head looking up at me.

"Are you gonna stay long?" He asked playing with the curls on my hair.

"No." I said. "But if you need anything just ask Laura and call me." I smiled kissing his forehead and he nodded.

"Jason, time to take a bath". Laura said walking in the room. Jason pouted and shook his head resting it back on my chest.

"Baby. Go take a bath." I smiled and he pouted.

"I already took one in the morning." He whined.

"Go Jason. Plus I have to finish getting ready." I said nodding at his nanny.

She walked up to us and tried to grab his hand but he didn't want to, and just pulled his hand back.

"Jason." I said sternly and he groaned while getting off my lap. I sighed looking at him as Laura followed behind him.

I retouched my makeup then went to my closet to put my dress on. Matt invited me to an event tonight. He briefly told me what it was about, but I'm just going because he gets nervous in events like those.

Just as I put my shoes on, I heard the doorbell ring. I just dropped my shoes and went to open it.

I walked out of the room and down the stairs. I opened and Matt standing in front of me, with a smile on his face

"Hello hottie." I smiled wiggling my eyebrows and he chuckled hugging me.

"You look beautiful". He said as we pulled away. I smiled and thanked him.

"You look really handsome. What a shame for all those women who will be checking you out." I smiled walking back in. He chuckled closing the door behind him. "I'll be right back."

I walked back upstairs to put my shoes on. I then took my purse and went to Jason's room. Laura was helping him with his pyjamas shirt when I walked in.

When he saw me, he pushed her hands away and came up to me as I sat on his bed.
I chuckled and started buttoning his shirt.

"You're going now?" He asked as I nodded.

"Yes. And don't wait for me like the last time." I said and he nodded.
"I love you." I said softly.

"I love you too." He said.

I watched with a smile as he walked back to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

I walked back downstairs and left with Matt.

"Come". He whispered grabbing my waist as we walked toward a group of people as soon as we walked in the place. "There's someone I want you to meet." He said and I nodded.
