Lucy's POV

At Home

"I'm home!" I greeted my dad as I walked into his office, making him look up from his stack of papers in front of his face.

"Hi sweetie. How was the picnic?" he asked.

"It was fun! Hopefully we can go again sometime." I pouted and crossed my arms, making him laugh.

I sat down at one of seats in front of his desk, "Dad, I need to talk to you about an important matter." I tried my best sounding serious with an 'adult' voice. I guess I nailed it because sweat slowly trickled down his forehead and he suddenly looked nervous.

"Yes honey?" he asked in shaky voice.

I squeezed my eyes shut and took a deep breath, "Can I go to a public high school?" I quickly blurted out and slowly opened one eye to see his reaction.

He looked slightly surprised and then let out a huge sigh of relief, "Lucy you know I'm old, don't scare me like that!"

"Ahh! Sorry dad!" I hadn't thought of that. What if I had given him a heart attack? I mentally slapped myself.

"If you truly want to do this, then I guess I can allow it. BUT- If I see that your grades are low you can expect-"

I stood up and ran to him, wrapped my arms around his and gave him a giant bear hug.

"Thank you dad!" I pecked him on the cheek. He returned the hug with an equally strong force.

"No problem princess. Is there a specific one in mind that you want to go to?"

"Fairy Tail High! It's the one Erza goes to."

"Oh well if Erza's there, then that makes things easier. I won't have to worry too much about you." he laughed.

"Thanks again dad!" I ran out of his office. It was a Friday, which meant I had time to prepare until Monday. I also planned on making Mr.Capricorn my tutor/butler a small gift as an apology for going to public school instead. The experience will be my motivation.

.

"... And that's why you don't have to give any more lessons Mr.Capricorn" I slightly bowed down as a form of an apology.

"Miss Lucy! How could you betray me like this?!" he dramatically yelled as he fell to the ground.

I giggled. "My apologies. I appreciate all your lessons! Here Capricorn, I made you a small gift." I said with an apologetic smile on my face as I handed a medium sized box wrapped in girly wrapping with a red bow on top.

Within it contained pictures of him teaching me and scolding me when I was little in our study lessons. They were pictures of both of us together, and in most of them we were usually smiling. It was only a small scrap book containing a small part of our memorable moments together. To make it less emotional I included a journal for him to write his poems inside. I also added a small zodiac key that matched with the one I had.

And of course, it also had money.

"You can open it later!" I grinned at him.

"Thank you Miss Lucy I am most grateful for this gift."
