I think this is very important for all girls to do! Some things he has to fulfill for me personally is:
~He has to be dedicated in His Christian faith and being a follower of Jesus
~Loves me for who I am
~Has pure intentions for our relationship
~Gets along with my parents and family
~Is sweet, caring & isn't always thinking about what's best for himself only, but for others around as well
