I shrugged and laughed

"But like I was saying" he started "I'm sorry if you feel like you was forced"

"Ok..."

"You done with me?"

"Maybe"

He laughed "You think you slick"

"How?"

"I know your friend with you"

I looked at Jayla who was surprised too

"How you know King!?"

"I actually didn't but now I do. I swear that trick gets everyone"

I sighed and threw the phone to Jayla.

"Just making sure everything Ard here" Jayla said laughing

King sucked his teeth "Everything fine. Plus she been ignoring my phone calls for a whole week so it had to be a catch for her to finally pick up"

"She was doing the same thing to me nigga"

He laughed "I bet. What she doing right now?"

"She can't believe that she fell for your trick"

He started laughing "The trick stay getting people"

I rolled my eyes and tried not to laugh.

"Lemme come over Kenya"

"I'm still mad at you" I mumbled

"She said she still mad at you" Jayla repeated for me

"Can she hear me? Am I on speaker?"

"You already know. Yup" Jayla said

He started laughing "Ard bet. Kenya can we talk. Just us"

I sighed "I don't know"

"I just wanna talk to you. Lemme apologize to you sincerely in person"

"She'll be ready!" Jayla yelled

"No jay-"

"Ard bye" she hung up from him

"Jayla!" I was really mad

"Love you too" she blew me a kiss

"he's at the door" she said as I was examining myself in the mirror

I had on my burgundy jeans, black long sleeve turtle neck crop top, and my all black low Jordan 6's. My hair was in a simple bun and I had some gold hoops in.

She came in the room

"Ooooh bitch you look bad. See you tryna have this nigga weak in the knees"

I rolled my eyes at her and turned back to myself in the mirror "I look good because I like to look good"

"whatever. I'm letting him in now" she said then left out

I sighed and stared at myself longer. Body sure was nice. I turned around looking at my butt in the mirror which was big and stood out. God what would I do without a booty. My door opened and King tall ass came in. He looked nice with his white button down shirt on.

"Wassup" he sat on my bed which was neatly made

"Shut up" I rolled my eyes at him

"Besides blaming me for this are you gonna admit how good it felt?"

"Are you gonna admit how rude you are?"

"How am I?"

"You wouldn't let me get up. You started on my neck. Look what you left" I pointed to the visible red hickeys on my neck

He narrowed his eyes to see "That's from me?"

"No duh. I have never let any guy touch me the way you did"

"Damn well I'm sorry. Is there any way I can make this up to you?"

"Yeah just don't do what you did before"

"Ard I'm really sorry..like seriously and honestly. I hate apologizing"

"I accept it. Thank you"

"Mhm huh" he nodded "Lemme get a hug now"

I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. He was hugging me too tight to the point were I felt like I wasn't able to breathe.

"too tight King"

"sorry baby" he loosened his grip

I pulled away and sat at the side of him.

"Wheres your son?" I asked after the long silence

"took him to my mom's house"

"Aw ok"

There was ANOTHER long pause. I didn't like this silence. The tension was to the roof in this room. I fiddled with my finger as he just stared at the wall.

"Why is it so quite?" He asked

"You not talking"

"You not talking either" he said

"I don't know what to talk about"

"How about you give me a kiss then I can head home"

"Hell no"

I rolled my eyes but only to then feel him kiss me on the lips. He pulled away quick laughing.

"Really?" I looked at him

"Yeah I needed that"

"Ard bye now King"

He stood "See you. Imma probably call you tonight if I'm not busy"

"Okay" I walked out to the living room with him

Jayla was sitting at the table eating. Her mouth was stuffed and she looked so confused. I laughed at her expression.

"What?" She asked "Y'all make up?"

I nodded "Yeah we did"

"Good"

I nodded and watched him go out. When he got in his car and pulled off I shut the door.
