Chapter 12

*Kenya in MM *

Jaiden

Her smile was stuck in my head. I couldn't get it out. The way she walked like she had the world in the palm of her hands. Everything about her made me want her.

"Daddy!"

I snapped out my thoughts noticing Aaliyah in front of me with her dolls in her hands. I couldn't get her out my head and for some reason I don't know why. But I'm trying to get rid of the thought.

"Sorry baby yes?"

"Can you play dolls with me?" She asked staring up at me

I sighed "Not today Liyah. Maybe another time"

"Daddy play with me. Like right now!"

"Liyah no not right now!" I spazed out but didn't mean to

"Oh my gosh your so mean! Fat head" She stomped off upstairs

I pulled my phone out and dialed Kenya number. I keep asking myself why the fuck is she on my mind more than usual right now. And I can't come to a solution.

"hello?" Her soft voice told me she just woke up

"I just wanted to speak to you" I said

"Really? About what?"

"I don't know. I just needed to hear your voice"

"Um....ok?" She laughed nervously

"I have liyah over. Can I pick you up and we go out to eat?"

"sounds nice just give me a few minutes to get ready"

"Aight just text me when your ready"

"I will" she added before hanging up

Kenya came out the house looking beautiful as ever. She had on some nice fitted jeans with grey boots that came up to her knee. And she was wearing a black crop top with a jean jacket over. Her hair was out and I mean natural. She had a lot of thick hair just out free.

Damn.

She's a walking goddess.

"Why you staring so hard?" She smiled

I just then noticed she was in the car.

"shit... My bad. You just look so beautiful"

She laughed "Its fine and thank you. You don't look too bad yourself"

"Hi Kenya!" Aaliyah shouted from the back

"Aww hi Aaliyah!" She said

She sounded so happy. I wonder if she ever thought about having kids before.

"Look what I got" She showed Kenya her Frozen watch

"That's so beautiful" Kenya gasped "I'm so jealous"

Aaliyah giggled "Thank you"

"You're so welcome, princess"

Aaliyah couldn't even stay put in her car seat. She would get out once in awhile, and have to be told to put her seat belt back on. Several times.

"This is what happens when she gets around you" I said pulling into the parking lot of Applebees

Kenya laughed and shrugged. Soon we got out to head inside.

They sat us at a booth. Me and Kenya was across from each other and of course Aaliyah hype ass wanted to be next to her. I didn't really mind though if Kenya was ok with it.

"Daddy can I get desert after this?"

"If you eat all you're damn food" I said while looking over the menu

I appreciate that Jaiden wanted to bring me out with him and his daughter. I just feel like he's seeing me more then just a friend. Or maybe I'm wrong. I don't know....

The waiter came to our table with her notepad and pin. She reminded me of blues clues. The man always had his little book and crayon.

"Hi everyone, my name is Becky and I'll be your server for the evening" she greeted "Is any one in the mood for drinks yet?"

I smiled "Yes indeed, I'll have a strawberry lemonade"

"And you sir?"

"I'll take a sprite"

"Okay, and for the little one?" she smiled down at Aaliyah, who was coloring

"Liyah what you want?" I asked her

"I want fruit punch!" She said with extra energy. For what damn reason I don't know

Becky laughed "Okay sounds great, and do you guys want to do a appetizer?"

"Yeah. The boneless wings. Mild please"

"Okay, I'll be back in a minute with your drinks"

"Did you give her something sweet this morning Jaiden?" I asked referring to Aaliyah

She was so hype and I guarantee it wasn't from me.

"Nah she always like this. She a hype ass five year old, but worry. She'll be knocked out after we eat in no time."

I started laughing "You a fool"

"I guess"

10 minutes later the appetizer was totally here. I was so happy. I love me some hot wings and right now I was hungry for them. There was like ten boneless wings on the plate. A side of celery and blue cheese.

"Dada that's too hot for me" she said looking at the wings

"Here..I got you the mozzarella sticks"

"Thank you daddy. You're the real mvp"

I laughed "Aaliyah is something else"

"Who are you telling bruh" Jaiden said shaking his head

It was overall so fun just hanging with Jaiden and his daughter. He treated me so good today. I almost pictured him being my man. But all jokes aside I feel like I'm falling for Jaiden. He's just that guy I wanna always be with. But I can't trust too hard because I know how guys are. Regardless if they have a child or not.

I took a shower thinking about our day. I got out brushed my teeth and put my pajamas on. Not before Jaiden called me. We talked all night until I got tired and fell asleep on him.
