I decided it was time to leave him alone, it wasn't polite to stare at someone who wanted to be alone. I turned and slipped on the soil, the grocery bag rustled as I tried to prevent the vegetables from falling on the group.

''Shit!'' I cursed and Oliver Parker stopped playing. I glanced back and he was gotten up from the bench, he was looking around now. Before his eyes settled on my form, I turned away, red in face and dashed away from the boat house and to the bridge, wishing that he hadn't seen me. That he hadn't recognize me.

I panted as I reached the bridge and set down the groceries on the floor. Rhodes was still not here. What movie did he want that he took up to fifteen minutes in the store? He was useless at times like these. I half considered ditching him and going home but just then a hand wrapped around my arm, and Oliver Parker caught up to me.

My heart hammered in my chest when he whirled me around to meet his heated gaze. Unlike me, he wasn't panting, and under the lights, his dark blue eyes were more intense. And they were demanding an answer.

''Uh well,'' I tried to back away, nervousness crawled over my chest. His hold on my arm remained firm and he refused to let me go. ''I w-was just passing by. Um, nice music by the way. What is that anyways? It sounded like a flute, really smooth. Did you learn it? Or were you taught?'' I rambled on and his face remained passive. Hs eyes narrowed and if he hadn't caught me before, he sure did now. Gosh, why was I so stupid in front of boys.

Oliver Parker was unamused, and this was not the sort of first impression I had hoped for, ''You were spying. And that's creepy.'' His voice that I was swooning over sounded angry, frustrated. He totally killed the vibe.

I sighed, ''I was just passing by and-''

''You were stalking.''

''I was just – wait, what?'' It was true that I had stopped by, but I was ready to leave. I only sated there for a minute. And I didn't follow him specifically, I followed the sound of the flute, without knowing who was it. ''I did not stalk you. I heard someone playing the flute and liked the sound of it!''

His brows furrowed and he gritted his teeth, pulling me a little closer towards him. Suddenly his face wasn't so beautiful anymore, it was scary and it was intimidating. His eyes were accusing, ''Then why did you run away?''

''I-I j-just...'' I stammered, unable to defend myself. No matter how pretty or handsome he was, accusing me like this and being rude without reason was not okay. I tried to wiggle free of his grip but he refused to let go. ''Ugh, will you just-''

''Hey! Let go of her!'' Oliver's attention shifted to Rhodes, who had materialized out of nowhere. I wanted to kiss him for saving my ass. Rhodes stomped forward and grabbed my arm away from Oliver's grip. Oliver let go, his fingers falling away. His eyes narrowed on Rhodes,

''Tell your girlfriend to stop stalking others.'' He added the last part, glaring at me.

Rhodes stiffened, his face growing red, he would have leapt forward and punched Oliver but I placed and arm over his chest, backing away.

''I'm not his-''

Rhodes didn't bother to correct him, ''Fuck off.'' He said instead,

Oliver pressed his lips in a thin line and scoffed, ''I don't want to fight you man, trust me, you don't want that.'' His voice was low and threatening. This meeting was a nightmare.

Before things could get out of hands, I grabbed on Rhodes arm and started to steer us in direction of home, ''Let's go,'' his eyes softened and I added, ''please, I want to go home.''
