Chapter 8

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. It's been half an hour and he still hasn't found a trace of Taehyung. He sighed, taking a seat on the nearest bench as he caught his breath.

Jimin frowned as he sat beside the maknae, noticing the other's discouraged face. "Are you okay?"

"Do I look like I'm okay? You totally ruined everything!" Jungkook shouted. "If you hadn't interrupted, this wouldn't have happened."

"If you hadn't skipped out on our comeback, this wouldn't have happened." Jimin argued. The younger scoffed, not muttering another word as he ignored the male next to him and scanned the crowd of people that passed by.

Jimin opened his mouth to break the silence, when suddenly, Jungkook stood. His eyes followed as he saw the maknae run towards the carousel. The older male watched in confusion as the maknae observed the ride.

As the carousel rotated, Hoseok came into view. He was riding on one of the horses and alongside him was another male. Taehyung.

Jungkook stood confused as he watched his crush happily enjoying himself with one of his own members. When the two got closer, Jungkook turned his back to the ride, hiding his face.

Jimin squinted his eyes as he peered closer, noticing something different.

Is Jungkook crying?

Taehyung laughed loudly as Hoseok made weird horse noises. As he watched the funny hyung, his eyes landed on a familiar figure standing fairly close to the ride. "Jungkook?"

The said male, glanced over his shoulder to look at Taehyung whose eyes resembled those of a sad puppy. Jungkook shook his head, walking away.

"Jungkook!" The older male called out, jumping off of the horse.

Hoseok furrowed his brows in confusion, watching the other run across the moving carousel. "Yah! You're going to get hurt! Taehyung-ah!"

Jungkook stopped as he heard his hyung's name being called. He turned around and watched as Taehyung ran off of the carousel and to the small gated exterior; which it's height was to his waist.

He watched as Taehyung climbed over the gate, resulting in him falling onto the ground. Jimin cackled as he continued to observe from the bench.

Jungkook gasped, running to the older's aid. "Are you crazy? Why did you do that?"

Taehyung giggled, taking the younger's hand as he was helped up. He dusted himself off while giving Jungkook a cheeky smile.

"Is it so wrong for me to chase my own happiness?"

The younger's mouth hung slightly ajar in shock. "Y-you heard everything I said?"

"Well, you practically yelled at your hyungs. I think the whole park could hear you." Taehyung chuckled. He then hugged Jungkook, catching the younger off guard. "I forgive you."

"If you forgive me then why were you with Jhope?"

Taehyung pulled away, looking at the other in innocence. "Am I not allowed to?"

"Not when you're on a date with me!"

"Hoseok hyung offered to help relieve my frustration by going on rides with me. Would you pass up an opportunity to hang out with your bias?"

"He's your bias?" Jungkook gasped. "What about me?"

Taehyung simply shook his head while giggling. "Nah."
