White shadows dance around you

Breaking your sleeping form

Wild whispers lash around you

Ending promises that are newly-born.

Angels serenade you

While demons hide and scream

Invading your reality Your nightmares and dreams.

Then I lay in silence

And watch you from afar

As you flicker and fade

Like a slowly dying star.
