THIRD PERSON POV*

Timeskip ~ 4 months ~

Jack held Elsa's pale hand, he smiled brokenly and tears came to his eyes.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

Jack was giving up. Losing hope that Elsa would awaken.

I'll be the one if you want me to

If only he hadn't yelled at her.
If only he had listened.

Anywhere I would've followed you

If only he had followed her outside quicker.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

He let go of her hand and felt the tears rolling down.

Elsa was trying to reach out to him.

And I... am feeling so small

Elsa felt tiny in the small bed. She had tried to get up so many times before.

It was over my head

If she hadn't of run into the woods.

I know nothing at all

She knew nothing about Jack anymore, if only she had spoken.

And I... will stumble and fall

Boy did she fall.

I'm still learning to love

Everything she learnt, she lost.

Just starting to crawl

She couldn't move, she tried to move her hand, but ended up exhausted. Jack noticed her heart rate monitor speed up.

Elsa was panicking, crying inside.

"Elsa?"

Say something, I'm giving up on you

"Say something. Anything." He begged.

Jack stroked her face, Elsa felt it. Only slightly. But she was still panicking.

I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you

"I'm sorry." He whispered, his tears falling on Elsa's cheeks.

Anywhere I would've followed you

He placed his lips on hers. The heart rate monitor slowed down. Jack laughed, tears in his eyes.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

But he was still losing faith.

And I... will swallow my pride

He kissed Elsa again.

You're the one that I love

"I love you." He whispered. He took his phone out.

And I'm saying goodbye

He dialled Rapunzel's number.

"Goodbye Elsa."

Say something, I'm giving up on you

He had given up. He had waited months.

Elsa wasn't coming back.

And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you

"I'm sorry." He whispered in her ear.

"Jack no!" She tried to scream.
Her heart rate sped up again.

And anywhere I would've followed you

"I'll try better, please!" Nothing came out of Elsa's vocal cords.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

"Jack?" Rapunzel had picked up.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

"I'm sorry Elsa." He whispered again.

He put the phone to his ear.

"Hey Rapunzel."

Elsa was panicking. She was willing herself to talk. Anything. She thought about Anna, how she would need her, about Merida, about Alex how he would feel if she gave up, she thought about Jack.

If she didn't wake up now, he would be gone forever.

She used every last piece of energy she had.

Say something...

"Jack?" She whispered.

She didn't know if it had worked.

She was crying, really crying.
She felt the tears on her cheeks, the rough bedsheets, the sweat on her forehead.

She could feel everything.

"Jack? I'm awake." She struggled.

Jack heard her this time.

"Elsa?" He faced the bed. He was at her side.

"Nurse!" He yelled. Everything went blurry for Elsa. She was numb and uncomfortable, she strained herself trying to sit up.

Nurses and doctors were rushing in, Jack was pulled out of the room while they did a series of tests on Elsa. But all Elsa could think about is how many times had Jack called Rapunzel?

And how many times had he gived in?
