The wind howled in the chilly night air, trees bent to it's every command. This way, that way, the branches danced in the moonlight. The ground was still muddy from the rain earlier, any who touched it would instantly be chilled to the bone. In the wind leaves of all colors did twists and turns to the music of the forest in autumn, with moonlight shining down upon them.

Yet, the world was not as beautiful as it seemed.

Forced to sit in that ice-cold mud was a young wolf. Her pack called her "disgusting" and "weak," yet she was the one surviving the harsh weather of the Eastside packlands while they were inside their warm houses. Looking at her from a distance, you would think she was just a regular brown wolf or dog. If you saw her closer though, you would notice that under all that mud, gunk, and dried blood, that this little she-wolf was pure white.

The Omega's eyes were a steely gray as she glared up at the moon. Her wolf was in full control while the Human inside her attempted to sleep, trying to keep the demons that plagued her far enough away for a wink of darkness. The wolf was angry yet thoughtful as it glared up at the moon. The moon is what gave Werewolves life, they belived, the Moon Goddess took care of them, nurtured them. Yet here this Werewolf lay, forgotten and unwanted in the mud on an autumn night.

The wolf curled her lips at the giant orb in the sky, wanting nothing more than to be as far away from this place as she could be. Her Human has suffered enough, she has suffered enough. Once a few bats flew across the moon, the wolf turned around, limping her way around the post she was tied to and into a little hole she dug. The silver chain around her neck burned as she moved, a vivid feeling like that of a flame snaking up and down her skin.

The air whistled in her ears as she laid down, ducking her head into her tail in an attempt to keep her warmer. As the she-wolf tried to sleep, she could hear the faint sounds of the Members in the pack house, they seemed to be having a feast in celebration of their victory with overthrowing the rival pack. Laughter and loud voices echoed in the empty night air, the wind softly drifting the sound to the Omega's ears.

She shuddered when she heared the Alpha's voice, it was loud and full of power, everything the Omega was not. She whimpered to herself, the pain from the chain and the scent of food being too much for her to hold it in anymore. She had not eaten in almost three days, she could only hope that one of the nicer Members would give her some of the leftovers from their feast tonight.

The Alpha made sure that the Omega lived in constant misery, having her wear a chain of pure silver. It was something even he was put in instant pain if he touched it, the silver would start to burn the skin, eating it alive. Soon the Omega could withstand it for the most part, her body started to become immune to the silver, being able to fight it off and heal faster than she was before. Even though it didn't hurt as much, silver and wolfsbane still kept Werewolves from shifting and changing their forms when it was in their bloodstream. If this was not the case, the first chance that the Omega was alone she would instantly leave the pack by shifting to her human form and running away.

Being a Lone Wolf would be way better than this life. Hell - even being a Rogue would be way better!

The Omega tried her best to ignore the pain and go to sleep, it took a few hours but she was finaly able to dull her senses and let sleep overtake her.

The Omega was woken up from a sharp kick to her stomach. With a lurch, the Omega quickly opened her eyes and stumbled out of her hole, her eyes flicking back and forth quickly to see who it was. When she saw who it was, she quickly put her head down and her ears back, staring at their feet instead of their face. If she looked them in the eye it would be seen as a challenge and she would be severally punished. The Omega lowered herself closer to the ground in submission, whimpering and showing her neck as she did.

The woman infront of her smirked, unlocking the chain from her collar and connecting one that she could hold onto. "Come on mutt," the she-wolf snarled, yanking the Omega with her as she walked. Kaitlyn was now in control, Werewolves thought of it as a challenge when her wolf was in control, so the Human part of her had to deal with the pain in the daytime.

Kaitlyn tried her best to keep up with the long-legged she-wolf. She tripped over the smallest of things as she limped as fast as possible to stay with the Member. No matter where she was brought, the pack lands always smelt like blood and death to her. It didn't change then, the stench wafted up to her nose, forcing her to breathe in the rancid air as she limped along.

The she-wolf pulling the Omega had long brown hair with makeup on her face, she always had this arrogant expression. Got one to instantly dislike her once they met. She seemed inpatient as she dragged Kaitlyn along, rolling her eyes sassily when the Omega tripped.

Wind whipped at their faces as they continued on their way, the women's hair flying to and fro as she tried in vain to push it away. Kaitlyn couldn't help but think she deserved it, but that was not her business. Deciding it would be best to not be seen looking at her, the Omega glanced at her surroundings and tried to guess where they were going.

The sun beat down at them yet it didn't help them against the chilly air one bit. The she-wolf started complaining as colder bursts of wind began coming more frequently.

"If I didn't have to take you mutt I would still be happily inside with my mate," the she-wolf growled. Kaitlyn felt bad for that mate, he had to deal with her nagging.

It finally came to the Omega as to where they were heading to. The prisons.

As a piece of trash herself, Kaitlyn had been there a few times for some special punishments. Of course, that was only when she did really bad things like look at high ranking wolf in the eye or try to fight back. She wondered what she did wrong, shiving from fear instead of the cold as they approached.

The walls were gray stone, tall trees shrouding it in shade, adding an eerie feeling to the prison. Two guards stood in front of the only entrance, they were strong Warriors with pistols and knives in their belts. The Human weapons were almost a comfort, she knew they would be way more dangerous as wolves. Kaitlyn didn't look at them, she didn't look at anything but the ground in front of her paws. Seeing the two, the left guard nodded his head and swung the door open for them.

Kaitlyn's paws padded lightly on the stone floor as they entered the dark building. Down the distant hallways she could hear the sound of breathless moaning and crying from the prisoners, a violent shiver racked her body as a scream pierced the air. She could barely see anything before an automatic light flicked on at their arrival, she wished it hadn't.

The floor was covered with old blood stains, it was hard for the Omega to smell them because the stench that stuck onto her own fur. The walls were stone gray and the ground was too, minus the red and brown bloches that stuck to it. A few meters in front of the two lay the first cells, all you could see was a door with a small one way glass window and opening for food. The stench of death and shit rose from the crack underneath the doors, the she-wolf coughed and covered her nose with her paw as she smelt it.

The she-wolf's heels clicked on the concrete, muttering profanities under her breath as she dragged the Omega. It was only past the few first doors before she stopped, dragging a key out of her pocket and sliding it into the keyhole. Opening the door she motioned for Kaitlyn to enter, the Omega refused.

She did not want to go in there. Even if she was not doing as she was commanded, she did not want to go in.

Seeing the Omega blatantly refuse, the she-wolf swiftly kicked the wolf. Kaitlyn whimpered as she was knocked on the floor, her snout smacking on the concrete. The she-wolf leaned down, gripping the Omega's ruff and yanking her inside the cell. Kaitlyn heard a growl before the slamming of the door and the heals clacking away.

Kaitlyn laid there, her muscles aching from the years of abuse. The room was dark, only a faint light coming from underneath the door which soon turned off a few minutes later. Twisting her tail into a more comfortable position, she slowly closed her eyes and wished that her whole life was just a dream.
