Fifteen Days of Bug Bites, Campfires, and Truths

Did you like my last chapter? What do you think will happen? Now, you won't see what's going on at camp... Yes, I'm going to be the devil. I'm not writing about Aphmau and her group. I'm going to write about Reed and his group up in Canada! I'm evil, I know. Anyway... I MIGHT just throw you a bone...

Reed

I sigh and rest my hand on the steering wheel.

My thoughts are completely trained at my angel.

My dear.

My love.

"Reed?" a shrill and annoying voice calls towards me.

I groan.

"Reed?"

I open the car door to my Mustang and slam it behind me.

"Hi Charlene." I mumble.

She purrs, "Hi Reed."

She traces a finger on my arm, "Glad you could make it."

I gave her a wan smile, "Yeah. We need to talk later."

She grins and drags me inside, "Later."

She leads me inside and I see the swaying and grinding bodies of Great Alberta High School.

Charlene grabs my arm and pulls me towards the dance floor.

She sways her hips and I can't help but notice how short her red dress is.

My friend, Brody, walks up to me and asks if he can steal Charlene for a dance.

Charlene looks at me expectantly, twirling her long ginger hair with her finger, with big brown eyes, waiting for me to get jealous, as usual, "Reed?"

I nod, "Sure."

I shoot Brody a grateful look and he smiles back. He knows what I have to tell Charlene.

I sneak up the stairs and hide in a closet.

D*mn it.

My life is terrible.

Ever since she left, my life has been living Hell.

I miss my angel.

Here's your bone!

Day 6

Aphmau

"So he doesn't remember anything?" Ginger asks confused.

I nod, "All he remembers is his early life."

Ginger shakes her head and looks down and her red braids fall onto her lap.

Nicole asks, "What're we going to do about it?"

I shake my head, "I don't know."

A knock sounds at the front door of our cabin and I answer, "Yes?"

Garroth stands in front of me, "Ma'am?"

I choke on my tears, "Yes?"

He kisses my hand, "My brother, Zane, tells me you saved my life. I'd like to thank you."

I smile and I feel the tears welling up, "No problem."

He gives a quick bow before backing away and leaving.

My tears stream down my face.

I thought you'd always be there to catch me, Garroth.

I close my door and head back to the to the others.

Emmalyn mutters, "Confirmed."

Dante

Garroth has lost his memory.

It's so weird seeing Garroth act like the "gentleman" his father wants him to be.

He thinks he's still got an arranged marriage with his father's business partner's daughter.

I don't know if that's true or not.

I just no his old self almost ran away because he didn't want to marry unless it's for love.

Man.

Aphmau is crushed.

Zane

My big brother is not himself.

He's acting the way father wants him to be.

That's not good.

Garroth is the opposite of what dad wants him to be.

This is not good.

Garroth

The girl who saved me.

She is striking and intriguing.

She seems to know me, but I don't know her.

But her image is tugging my mind, as if it wants me to call attention to her.

But I must refrain from doing so.

My father has an arranged marriage with me and two of his business partner's daughters. If one is hesitant, I must marry the other.

I find it cruel to play with their hearts, but I must obey father.

I need to exit this camp and go home.
