<Rouge's POV>

The transmission watch buzzed declaring that the call officially ended. Gazing at the blank screen I exited my room. Shadow and (y/n) huh? Who would have ever guessed he would someday get himself hitched. More importantly what happens to lil ol' me? (y/n) had become my go-to gal, don't get me wrong I am happy for them actually I'm more happy than I would ever let on but still... the future is such a forever changing anomaly. "Are they coming?" Knuckles asked from the sofa. "Hard to tell, they're celebrating good news," I responded catching a glimpse of myself in the hallway mirror. I fluffed my hair giving myself a good inspection. Perfect hair as always. I couldn't help smiling at my reflection. "Oh really? What's the good news?" "Nosey, you'll find out soon enough," my hand went to my hip as I waved my finger at him. It really isn't my place to say. I'm not even sure they'll tell anyone. "Hrmph, fine don't tell me," he cracked sharply. "My my what a temper. Us fragile ladies are surrounded by barbaric men," I sassed sarcastically. He grilled on further, "Oh ya sooo delicate. If only you had the mouth to match." "Watch it buster! I'm still not done with beating you from yesterday. After what your posse did to (y/n) and then lying to me about it I don't think I will ever be done!" He deflated promptly and covered his mouth with his hand taking in a deep breath. He stared at the glass coffee table in the center of the room, "Ya... ya ya I know. What we did was... out of line. I swear I will make it up to her for everything." I took a seat beside him. It's kind of strange seeing his usual demeanor bummed out. He's so hard headed it's a job in itself getting him to admit he made a mistake. I kept my high horse tone trying to keep the conversation light, "Look who finally admitted they were wrong for once. We're only doing this so you can see how (y/n) really is so Don't get any wise ideas." He fell for it hook, line, and sinker, "Like if I would ever want to go out with you! You're so batty!" "Hmph You should be thanking me. Any guy would feel honored to take me out." "You're full of it!" "That is no way to speak to a classy lady." "The only thing classy in this house is my foo-uh!" I threw a pillow at his face and shoved him to the ground where he landed face first. I sat on his lower back and crossed my legs, "Like I said, barbaric men." "Get Off Of Me You BAT!" "You know how this works. Say uncle." "And I said Get Off!" Grabbing a pillow off the couch I muffle his face. I could faintly hear his strangled ruckus. "Ahh much better... By the by don't mention what happened when Shadow's around. I'll explain later."

<(y/n) POV>

"Shadow no~" you playfully scorned while he secured you onto the bed. His feathery kisses tickling your neck. "I'm not sharing you," he murmured. "They're waiting for us." He placed his hand on your forehead and hummed in disapproval, "You're still running a little warm." "I'm feeling much better I promise. All that excitement last night wore most of the side effects away." His lips curled into a sexy smile, "It doesn't have to end with one night." Gazing up at him your sense erratically heightened. There was no question that you loved him as you swooned over his dapper finesse. His rough features were relaxed and he had an almost impish mood about him. The flustered feeling soared from the butterflies in your stomach to the apple of your cheeks. His hand framed your face and he whispered, "You're blushing." His lips gently tugged at your lower lip. The rugged feeling of his tongue tracing along the lower half as your mouth was slightly ajar in a low pant.

He caught your breath, groaning as your tongue met his. He tasted like a warm summer. The hints of lavender and velvet filled your senses making you dizzy. You tried to get on your forearms when he pulled away but a dull pain sweltered on your shoulder reminding you of Shadow's aggression. You glowered at him and flicked his nose. He was taken by surprise and raised his brow at you. You explained, "You have certainly gotten into the habit of nipping me when you're angry." He said unapologetically, "And I would do it again." He smiled sheepishly as his face hovered over your chest, "And again." His canines outlining the tip of your breast causing your breathing to hitch. The glossy feeling of his teeth sent waves of static through your veins throughout your body. The longer he did it the more susceptible you were. You could feel that internal coil in your stomach begin to ravel. He paused, "Will you ask me to stop?" and continued. He knew what he was doing. "Shadow I'm feeling bothered down there so please stop." He murmured, "I can fix that." His hand crawled to your hip down to near your warmth and up again. Bringing your knees together you crossed your ankles in defiance, "I can't think when you're doing that." He smiled coyly sensing victory still on his side, "*chuckled* Oh but love you're still sensitive here." He began teasing your breast again. His tongue swirling at the tip and his other hand handling the other in a similar fashion. "And here," his hands changing direction to claim your behind, "I'll admit this is easier if you were on all fours." Your eyes went wide but your insides squirmed anticipating in a raunchy mess, "W-what are you talking about?" "Satisfying my insatiable wife," he leered. "Actually I feel a headache coming on," You lied hurriedly. His wild side was showing, it was exciting but you wanted to see what Rouge hand in mind. He clicked his tongue, "You really want to see that bat don't you?" He leaned in close and you felt the heat from his breath on your jaw line as he darkly muttered, "Fine but when we get back you're mine."
