Hello my sweet honeys! This is a WARNING turn back if your mind is pure because the LEMON CHAPTER IS HERE!  I hope you enjoy this to your heart's content and I Highly advise that you read this when you're alone.

 It's been a few days since you've last seen Shadow. When you thought about him you began to fidget. "What's taking him so long?" You had an edge to your voice. "Don't worry princess; he'll be back before you know it. He probably caught a lead about the whereabouts of a chaos emerald. You know before you were around it wasn't odd that he would disappear from time to time," Decoe responded from behind the counter currently concentrating on the frying pan in front of him. Bocoe was next to him mincing peppers, "Rest assured princess he'll return." "I understand what you two are saying but it's irresponsible for him to disregard his duty in such a manner. What if the Doctor needs him?" You glance at Decoe, "Decoe, the eggs are on fire." "Huh, what! AH Nuts and bolts, Again?" You giggle at his exasperation, "I'll say. That's the fourth time today." Bocoe proceeded to use the fire extinguisher that was stationed by the stove just for this purpose. When they managed to put out the fire they appeared as flustered as robots could be. They leaned against the counter. "Thanks for the heads up. Again," Decoe was embittered. "No problem. We can't have headquarters burning down now can we? Here hand me the spatula, I believe I understand the basics of this process now." They were reluctant at first but it was obvious they didn't mind someone else taking over the job.

 "Well they're not perfect, but they'll do," you said as you observe the contents in the pan. They weren't that bad looking just a little over cooked and your omelet in a last resort turned into scrambled eggs. "Whew I'm glad that's over with but the Doctor's breakfast is overdue,"Decoe exhales. Bocoe comments, "We'll get yelled at for sure..." You can almost see an idea suddenly begin to bounce around in his head. Bocoe faces you, "Princess would you be so kind as to bring the Doctor his breakfast? We have urgent business to take care of." Before you could consider an answer they're already left the kitchen, the door still swinging behind them. Well, it's not like they gave me much of a choice. You walk down the corridor following the echoes of papers being shuffled and a pen scribbling fiercely. You knock on the door, three fast and two slow. Inside the Doctor's voice booms, "Make your way in!" He's nearly buried under mountains of obscure paper, notes laid scattered across the carpeted floor.  "(Y/N)? What a pleasant surprise. I was just reviewing a few of your old test results. You're displaying tremendous improvements," He said proudly.  "I merely hope to meet your expectations Doctor." "Hmm?" The Doctor didn't hear the question. He was scarfing down the eggs as if he hasn't eaten in days. You opted to sit on the clear corner of the desk facing the door maintaining vigilance. You were constantly expecting Sonic to barge in in through the doors in an attempt to hurt the Doctor. You're train of thoughts began to wander slowly tuning out the Doctor's eating and other background noises. Shadow... Shadow why did you leave? Do you even worry about me?

<Flashback>

                "How's it looking Doctor?" "You're vitals are normal. There is no damage to your cerebral cortex. It was a false alarm," the Doctor let out a huff as he sat back down removing the device he calls a stethoscope from your chest. "May I remove these?" You ask pointing towards the band aid wire devices that apparently allowed him to measure your beta and alpha waves. "By all means, we're done here. (Y/N) next time try not to worry this old man." "Better safe than sorry." He chuckled, "Right you are," he paused gathering his thoughts; "It seems as if only yesterday when you first opened those ruby eyes of yours." You smirked up at the Doctor, "To be completely honest, I wasn't sure if you were a threat Doctor. I believe you owe it to 'bots for the conventional outcome." The Doctor began to jest, "Hohoho are you admitting that you enjoy others invading your personal space?" "I can hardly admit to that but they were disarming to say the least." The Doctor guffawed at your response. "Umm Doctor, I've asked before but I'm unsatisfied with your answers." "If you are filled with doubt ask away my child." "About the night I "awoke"..." "Ahh yes, they were rather vague." "I am aware that ending Sonic permanently is my priority but why?" "Behold," he says lifting up your ankle to showcase your foot. He continues, "You've been made to absolute perfection. Even more so than Shadow. I being Gerald Robonik's grandson aim to precede him." He puts your leg down. "I'm still at loss to understand." He reclines in his chair and crosses his legs one over the other, "Have you ever questioned yourself about Shadow?" "From time to time," you admitted. "Well maybe this story will give you a better understanding," he cleared his throat.
