I need so much space that
When you lie me across the vast oceans and continents
The spaces between my fingers and my limbs
Will not be enough to satisfy
Me. I reach
For the azure blue skies,
For the loams scattered across the ground,
For the areas around me and
For the ever ticking hand on the giant clock.
Time and space is what I need
To grow, to rejuvenate and learn
More about the human condition
And myself, no longer restricted
To the confines of a screen, a paper.
I've said it before and I'll say it again
We are not words and ink,
We are flesh, growing flesh.
