How can I

312 35 4

Darkness seems to swallow me

but You assure me that I belong

in the light, next to You.

You say, thou shalt not covet

but I have! I have! Woe is me, for

how am I worthy of being

in Your presence? But how

do I stop? I cannot do this

without You, I scream. And

my voice echoes into nothingness;

a space I cannot see, touch or feel

but You're here, You're here! I know

You are. You must be. Please

Cleanse me with hyssop for I will be clean

Wash me and I will be whiter than snow.

All of me, all of me, do not miss a thing.
