Chapter 56

Okay ima say that it was like three and 75% months between seasons so she 5 almost 6 months now. And to clear it up she was pregnant before they got married but didn't know it. She's been staying with Lydia since Derek went missing.
Amethyst's POV
*Before leaving for Mexico*
"Lydia I can't wear anything tight. I look fat."
"Come on Amethyst you're only five months along."
"Lydia I'm huge."
"Let's get another opinion, Scott and Stiles are downstairs. Hey, Scott, Stiles come up here!"
I hear stumbling and I start laughing.
They burst through the door and Lydia says,"Can you tell she is pregnant in this outfit?"
"Yes,"they say in unison.
"See!"
"Screw all you guys," Lydia says before dying of laughter.
I end up wearing a baggy sweater, black flats, leggings, and my hair in a long french braid.
*In Mexico*
This doesn't seem so bad."
"Its not the town, it's the plan."
"What's wrong with the plan."
"So many things,"I say.
"Stiles this could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with. You're aware of that right."
"I'm aware that its not our best."
"We are going to die."
"Yeah."
"Are you saying that as a banshee or are you just being pessimistic."
"I'm saying it as a person that doesn't want to die."
"I'm being pessimistic."
"Okay then would you mind restricting any talk of death to actual banshee predictions."
"This plan is stupid and we're going to die."
"Aww thank you."
Lydia speaks in Spanish to the guards and Stiles holds up the card.
They give us drinks.
"We didn't come to drink."
"We're here for Derek Hale."
"Is that so?"
"We know you have him."
"We've heard you can be bought."
"That's 50,000 for Derek."
"Now where does a teenage boy get money like this, Japanese mafia."
They point guns at our heads and I freak out in my head.
"Not smart to come alone."
"What makes you think we came alone."
"You brought a wolf into my home."
"We brought an Alpha."
He doesn't say anything about me because he's scared I will get hurt.
"My friends, I don't think you're aware of your poor timing. Do you know what the dark moon is?"
"Part of a lunar phase when the moon is least visible in the sky."

"Grief and loss, amiga. I wonder why when you and your friends have suffered so much loss that you would risk it again for someone like Derek Hale."
I begin cussing her out in my head.
"Cause we don't like to lose."
"Stiles take 10 off the table,"Scott says coming over the radio.
"Maybe you should just take the deal."
"While I am keen to follow the warning of a banshee I'm going to have to decline."
"Alright come on just give us Derek. You don't want him anyway, haven't you noticed what a downer he is, no sense of humor, poor conversation, just come on just take the money."
I glare at Stiles.
"Silvero show them how the Calaveras(don't know how to spell this) negotiate."
*she's hearing this through the door*
"Someone who's been an alpha for only a few months should be more careful when facing a hunter of 40 years."
"All we want is Derek."
"You're a long way from home."
"You don't where he is either."
I keep saying in my head, stay with Stiles, stay with Stiles.
"He's awake guys he's awake."
"Scott you okay buddy."
"Yeah, they don't have him. They don't have Derek."
"We know but right now they've got Lydia."
"Lydia. What would they want with Lydia."

I but in and say,"Umm if he left on his own at least his wife who is pregnant with his child should've been informed."
"What if someone else got to him."
They take Scott and leave me with Stiles and Malia.
"Can you hear Scott, Kira, Lydia what are they saying."
"I can't."
"I can,"I whisper.
"They're killing him."
"With electricity."
"That's impossible that can't be what he said."
"Why who's Kate?"
"A hunter."

"Braeden."
"Who's Braeden?"
"A mercenary."
"And right now the only one that will take you to La Iglesia."
"The church."
"Yeah but not a place you'll find god."

"Uhh I'd like to know too,"Kira says.
"Well we were at her funeral, so I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground."
"She was never in it,"Scott says.
"She was Allison's aunt,"I say.
"And a total sociopath,"Lydia finishes.
Scott and I both look like we're about to cry.
"You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to,"Kira says.
"Uh yes he does,"Malia retorts.
Man I want to punch this chic soooooo bad.
"Yeah she's right you guys should know, you need to know,"Scott says honestly looking like he will break down any second.
"Alright, Kate set the fire that killed most of Derek's family,"Stiles states.
"Some survived like Cora, Peter, and Laura who was killed by Peter,"I say.
"A very angry Peter,"Lydia adds.
"Yeah he's the one that bit and turned me and Amethyst,"Scott says.
"He's also the one that finally caught up to Kate and killed her."
"But we saw her buried."
"No we saw a casket, she wasn't in it, remember. The Calaveras heard that Kate was killed by an Alpha's claws and they wanted to see if she was really dead. Her body was healing the closer and closer she got to the full moon. She was coming back, so they switched the bodies. They took her. If a hunter is bit they have to take their own life before the full moon. The Calaveras, treat the code like law and make it their law to enforce it."
"Good for her I wouldn't do it either."
"Would you kill a half a dozen people to get out? Because that's what she did."
"So Kate's a werewolf now."
"I don't know. There's a saying that the shape you take reflects what kind of person you are."
"What kind of shape is a sociopathic bitch?"
Suddenly we hit something.
And Braeden begins telling Scott if they don't go now they won't make it to La Iglesia before night and it's too dangerous then.
"Go."
"Dude someone needs to find Derek. We'll figure out something. We always do."
Scott rides off and Stiles tells me,"Stay in the car if you get hurt Derek will kill me."
I comply, sit down in the car, and take off my shoes.
Melissa's name pops up on my screen and I click answer.
"Hello."
"Hey Amethyst. I looked at your most recent ultrasound and i showed it to an OB/GYN and you're having a girl congratulations."
"Thank you I'm so excited."
"See you next week."
"Bye."
I open the door and say,"It's a girl."
Lydia has a freak out session and says she will be thinking about baby names.
"We're in the middle of nowhere, about to be attacked by a monster. And your sister is five months pregnant. And I'm terrified,"I hear Lydia yell at Stiles.

I lie my head on Lydia's shoulder and my head starts pounding.
We jump out and see Scott and Braeden dragging Derek.
"Is that him? Is that Derek?"
"Sorta."
I see the 17-year-old version of Derek look up at me.
