"Yeah, Eric and I are just going through some stuff. So I'll pick her up in a few days, she can't fall asleep without her blankie, but other than that she's not picky or allergic to anything," Nora explained.
"Okay," I nodded, "How old is she now?"
"14 months," Nora smiled weakly.
"Okay," I smiled.
"I have to go. Thank you again," Nora smiled, she crouched down and gave Noelle a hug and kiss, "Mummy loves you, baby."
I picked Noelle up as Nora left.
"Hi Noelle," I smiled, carrying her on my hip, "I'm Minx, or Minxie, and this is Joe."
"Hi Noelle," Joe smiled.
Noelle let out a small yawn.
"Are you tired, love?" Joe asked.
Noelle hid her face again my shoulder and neck and nodded her head.
"I'll get you ready for bed, come on," I smiled sweetly.
I picked up her bag and carried her into Joe and I's room to get her changed into her pyjamas.
I tucked her in my bed and laid her in the middle. I sat with her, gently stroking her forehead until she fell asleep and I got up and went to the livingroom to see Joe. Joe had gotten a blanket and pillow from the closet and set laid them out on the sofa for himself.
"I'm sorry," I apologised.
"Don't worry about it," Joe shook his head.
"If you want to sleep in a bed, you can go back to your flat?" I suggested.
"I'm not going to leave you here alone with two babies!" Joe shook his head.
"Okay," I nodded.
"We've got this. Now, give me a kiss, so we can go to bed," Joe smiled, pulling me in by the waist.
"I love you so much," I hummed.
"Mm, I love you too," Joe smiled, giving me a kiss and pinching my bum, "Now get to bed."

"Shush, it's okay," I hummed, holding Noelle on my hip.
"Mummy!" Noelle cried.
"Your mummy will be back soon, it's okay," I said soothingly.
Noelle buried her head against my neck and slowly stopped crying.
"How is she?" Joe asked quietly, carrying Noah, before laying him in the baby bouncer.
"Alright now, I think," I nodded.
"Noelle, here you are," Joe said quietly, getting her attention.
Joe handed her her blankie and she took it, holding it to her chest as I continued holding her.
"Are you hungry? Come on, let's get you something to eat," I suggested.
I opened the refrigerator and got out some yoghurt.
"Do you like strawberry yoghurt?" I asked.
Noelle nodded her head, only looking up to see what I was holding.
"Alright, I'll get a spoon, and you can have this, yeah?" I smiled.
I sat her down on a play blanket by the television and opened up the small plastic container before giving her small spoonfuls of yoghurt, which she ate.
