Chapter 11: Jackie likes me?

Marco's POV

I still can't help think I was going to die JUST LIKE THAT?!

I'M TOO YOU TO DIE! I'M JUST A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A LOVE LIFE YET!

Well... I might have... Maybe...

BUT STILL!

Well, I'm going to get my mind out of that. So I'll just stay silent.

Then the bell rang. It was the next subject, M-A-T-H

Yup, the subject we all hate.

Ugh.

I stood up from the table, got my book bag, and waited for the girls to tag along.

Me and Star walked side by side but Jackie just trailed behind. Why?

All of us walked along the hallway, got our books from the lockers, and entered our classroom.

(Time skip to the end of the day)

"MARCO! COME ON! LETS GO!" Star shouted as she signalled me to come with her.

"Uh... Marco, do you have a minute?" Someone asked from behind me.

It was Jackie.

"JUST A MINUTE STAR!" I yelled back at the princess.

"Marco, can I bring you somewhere tonight?" Jackie asked as she rolled her skate board back and forth.

"Uh... Sure! Why not." I responded.

"Great! I'll meet you at the park at 5:00 pm. Got it?"

"Yea. Sure. Where are you taking me anyways?"

"Oh.. You'll see!" Jackie said as she patted me on the back and went away.

I ran back to Star and walked with her home.

"So, what did Jackie tell you?" Star asked.

"She asked me too meet her at 7 in the park."

"Hmm... Do I need to come?"

"I don't think so..."

"Oh... So it's a date?"

"WHAT?! NOO! NO NO NO WAY!" I said blushing.

"Oooo! MARCO'S GOT A DATE!" She teased.

"NO! I don't have a love life yet!"

"Ah! Sure you'll get one with Jackie!"

"Haha very funny Star..."

After that, I didn't say a word until we reached the house.

"I'll go to my room." I said as I looked at the time on my phone. It was 3:49.

"Sure Marco!" She said with a smile.

I went upstairs and sat on my bed. I don't think I had a love life with Jackie... I think I am having one with Star... But, I'm not too sure...

Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I said.

It was Star. With her wand in her hand, she made a small card appear in my hand.

I looked at her confused but all she did was to give a smile and left me.

I opened the card to see a letter from Star.

Dear Marco,

           Sorry if sometimes I've
been a jerk. I know that most of the time, you get pissed off with me. I know I'm just trying to have fun and all but I never think of how it would affect other people.

That was nice. I still sat on my bed then after awhile, I stood up and knocked on Star's door.
