Blue Neighbourhood is the name of Troye Sivan's debut album. It's also the name he gave to a trilogy of music videos from his album, with one arching narrative across them. It's also a lyric from his song, Wild, leave this blue neighbourhood.
Troye's Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy is what inspired this story - this is just an interpretation of it.
I wanted to shed light on things I feel strongly about, and this is the way I chose to do it. My original plan was a series of short stories focusing on different topics, of which this is the first. I'm not sure if I'll continue the series, but regardless, here is the first instalment.
Warning: this story contains homophobic characters, death, and suicide. It is not fluff, at least not past a certain point.
