Amelia was ready to come out to Ridgemount High School. She was sixteen and the principle thought it would be a good idea to talk about LGBT+ rights. She's a lesbian herself, and she is tapping her foot anxiously.
The principal called Amelia up so she could start her speech. She brushed her raven black hair out of her face and took a deep breath and walked out onto the stage. She started talking about how we should never judge each other. It was time for her to say it.
"I'm a lesbian."
