"It's amazing how you can just forget about me in such a short span of time.

Like whatever we used to be, is now obliterated, gone."

-Aleanna-

I desperately searched for Liam in the wild crowd, only to find him sitting at a table near the photo booth, havung a laugh with Zayn.

I quickly made my way through the dancing mob of people, such crazy and wild bunch of people. And finally I've reached the table.

"Aly! Where's Harry at?" Zayn asks.

''Uh, he's somewhere with Lucy I think." I dropped my head at the thought of them all alone.

"Hey, why the long face?" Zayn interrogates.

I shook my head and brushed it off.

"Just..uh, can I talk to Liam for a while? I'm sorry if you guys are busy, I can just go find Louis or something."

"No, no. I was just about to go find Anna. Come sit.' I quickly thank Zayn as he fled off to find his girlfriend. I sighed, contemplating whether this is a good idea or not. It's a good idea but it's probably not the best. But, whatever. I just really need someone to talk to about this or else my head will explode soon.

"So, what's up, Aly-o?" This is it. I'm going to finally tell someone. You can do this. Breathe.

"I'm-uh, wait. Here it goes, I kinda..I-oh fuck. What am I doing? Damn it!" I can d this. I know I can.

"Hey, hey. No, pressure. Take your time, yeah?" Liam spoke as he looks me in the eye and send me a warm smile. He's so sweet. That's why I also need to tell him. It's for our benifit. I can't lead him on. He needs the truth. I'm in love with Harry. It's that easy! Come on, Aleanna! Suck it up.

I took a deep breath, "I'm in love with Harry."

I said it. I did it. Phew! That wasn't so bad after all. I stared at Liam's face waiting for some sort of reaction but, nothing. He didn't even flinched. I scoffed and slouched on my seat.

"Did I surprise you?" sarcasm intended. Was it really that obvious?

"Well, it's pretty obvious, Aly." He chuckled. "And I know I'm not the only one who notices. Probably everyone in the group except Harry, knows."

"If it's pretty obvious for all of you, then why isn't it for him?" It was frustating, honestly.. Even if I didn't want him to know, I wanted him to know. Girls are weird. Being a girl sucks!

"Well, you see Aly, it's always like that. You like someone , you try to hide it but, everyone else notices. Except for the one naive person, and thatvis the person you like." He explains.

"Well, I wish it wasn't always like that." I sighed. "Hey, come on. If you don't want to dance, then you can just tell me how it all started. I'm all ears."

So, we spent probably like an hour with me just sharing stories about Harry and I. I even old Liam about the kiss. I know I can trust Liam with my secrets. He's the best one at keeping them.

"You really got to tell him sooner or later, Aly."

Sigh. I've sighed way too many times tonight. "I know."

"What if you tell him now? You can do it for the both of us." He encourages me.

"And why in the world would it be for the both of us, huh Payno?"

"Cuz' your pretty boy is kind of stealing the girl I fancy." Liam likes Lucy!

"Fuck! Liam, you know I can't! Why not we turn it around? You do it! You tell Lucy you like her! Come on, let's go." I stood up from my seat and pulled Liam.

He stopped on his tracks, "But, what if she doesn't feel the same? What then?"

I chuckled, "Oh, trust me. The feeling's mutual between the two of you."

After searching for the two for so long, we finally found them.

And what I was seeing with my own two eyes, broke me into pieces.

-Harry-

Lucy grabbed my arm and dragged me to the locker room.

"What are we doing here Lucy?" I asked her, a bit annoyed.

"Do you like Aleanna?" Her quedtion caught me off guard. What the fuck.

"Of course! She's my best friend!" I replied. I know where she's going with this.

"You know that's not what I mean." she cocked an eyebrow, trying to find out the truth and she was desperate for it. And after what happened just a few moments ago, the answer was clear in my mind. "What if I said yes? Huh?" My voice rose. She was a bit taken back by my sudden change in tone.

Then she just crashed her lips into mine.

But I started kissing back. But nothing. No sparks. I thought I liked her, I THOUGHT. But, nothing. I felt nothing. Just two lips moving together. I started to pull away. But she wouldn't. I tried pushing her but, she won't move! Damn, this girl is strong. Just please, I pray that Aly won't walk in. I don't want her getting the wrong idea!

There was a loud gasp and I knew we weren't alone in the room anymore. I was praying, praying so damn hard that it wasn't Aly. But, as my eyes darted to the person standing in the room with us, my heart broke.

Her eyes looked cold and dead. Her mouth was closed tight and her jaw was clenched, so were her fists, so hsrd that it was almost white. But what made her seem so alive, was the tear that slowly rolled down her cheek.

Before I could even say a word, she was gone.

I pushec Lucy away with all my might and she fell on the floor. I couldn't care less, honestly. I was about to run after Aly, but Liam stopped me before I could even get any further. "Man, move away! Come on!" I shouted and pushed Liam, but I wasn't as strong as he was.

"Dude, Harry! Just calm down. I think its best if you just go home for tonight. I'll drop her off ag their house. Man, I swear you can trust me with this. My intentionsnare good. You'll still have her tomorrow."

"I love her, Liam. Please get her home safely."

"I know, bro. Don't worry. I won't steal her, okay? Just chill out and go home. You need some rest." He smiled and pat me on the back before leaving,

I walked out of the building and got into my car and drove straiught home.

And as I sat down by my window waiting for her curtains to open across mine, a fact kept on repeating inside my head and I finally said it out loud,

"I'm in love with Aly. I'm in love with my best friend."
