"I can't believe that I can't find just one person to walk with me to Sonic." I huffed to myself as I stared in the mirror. It was a Friday afternoon, and I was sitting in my dorm room trying to fix my hair. I couldn't stand to eat the badly prepared food in my college cafeteria, and i craved a double cheeseburger with fries. My car was in the shop...it was experiencing issues as usual. Everyone else I know that has a car is "too busy" to drive me anywhere. "Those bastards." I examined myself in the mirror, a daily ritual to check if I didn't turn into a gremlin overnight.
My hazelnut colored skin (at least that's what my Sephora concealor color says) was smooth without any blemishes. Thank God I already went through the awkward acne stage in middle school! My thick brown curls with blonde streaks were all over the place, and I was trying to tame them with my brush. Hopefully that works. I had some bags under my dark brown eyes, due to late nights studying for Pysch, catching up on Teen Wolf, and comforting my emotionally disturbed roommate. I examined my nose. It didn't break out today. Whoppee! My nose has always been one of my favorite parts on my face. Its a little pointy at the top and round at the side. My lips were same as usual. 'Medium sized' you could say, but a little plump too. I was satisfied with how I looked today. What I wasn't satisfied about was that no one was able to walk down the street to Sonic with me. "That's it! I'll call Dane! He never has anything to do." I hopped up from my little chair, picked up my Iphone, and dailed Dane's number.
