If your a fan of The Flash I would definitely recommend this book. If you look at the rating on it, it's already pretty popular and there's definitely a reason why. It's not random or cheesy, in fact, it's actually insanely well written, for one thing. Not only that, but it follows the story line to a tee, while also including little snippets of the author's own story and creativity.
This book definitely kept me sane through the hiatus, and it'll keep you company throughout the series if you read it!
All in all, I really enjoyed this author's book, and sincerely think that you will too.
