*Unkown*

I was sitting on the corner of the hotel bed, staring at the bracelet in my hand.

Jinyoung's bracelet.

Thoughts ran through my head as I recalled the whole of today.

*Flashback*

The cold autumn breeze forced me to pull my coat on. I took out the piece of paper that had the address for the single mother centre. I quickly put it back into my coat pocket and fastened my pace. It was very cold, and I didn't want to stay outside any longer.

I looked for the street name on posts, but my Korean was still quite bland as I just came back from America.

Finally, I found a place that looked just like in the picture I had.

I pushed the heavy gate and entered the shabby looking place.

I went to the registration office, and the lady sitting there gasped.

"Excuse me, do you know where this woman is?" I handed her the picture of mum.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but she has passed away long ago. Just as she gave birth." the lady nodded in thought, "However she had a very close friend, I can tell you where she lives." She gave me the photo back.

"Please, if you could." I wanted to meet anyone who knew about mum. Anyone who was close to her. She took out a post-it note and quickly scribbled something on it with a pencil.

"Here you go. I'm sorry if this is a burden, but say hi for me, I haven't seen her in a long time. Good luck!" She smiled. I bowed and exited the centre.

The place written on the post-it note was quite far away, and it felt like my ears were going to fall off.

The autumn is really cold here in Korea. It will take some time getting used to it.

I finally reached the house my mum's friend should be living in.

It was a two story building, and I noticed a few balconies scattered around the wall.

It must be an apartment then.

I quickly went inside the corridor and ran up the stairs. Soon, I was knocking on the wooden door, eager to introduce myself.

I waited for a few moments, and knocked again. Nobody opened the door.

I reached into my pocket and took out a metal wire that I always carry around.

Nobody needs to know why. *wink wink*

I stuck it inside the keyhole and twisted it a few times. The door unlocked and I stepped inside.

I went for the living room, and the thing that caught my eye was a photo that was placed on a shelf. A family photo.

I picked it up and carefully looked at every single person in the picture. There was a middle aged woman and two younger guys by her sides.

My eyes widened as I saw a guy that looked exactly like me. It seemed as though I was the one in the picture.

My hands started shaking a little bit so I put the photo back where I took it from, scared that it will fall from my shaking hands.

I decided to have a look around the house, checking the two rooms that were there. One of them had to be his.

I opened the door and scanned it. There was a bunk bed on the left, just by the door, and a desk straight ahead. A wardrobe by the same wall the door was and a window in front of the desk.
