Lucy's POV

I was on a mission with Natsu. No Happy. He was trying to woo Carla to take his fish. Its been three years since Tartaros. Five  years since Igneel died and five years since I've seen Aquarius. It has only been four years since me and Natsu brought the guild back together. This is what the mission said "Help! A man is killing the citizens! Help us at Clover Town Reward: 400,000J"

I was sitting on a train with Natsu's head on my lap as he was groaning. I giggle and play with his hair. Natsu moans in pain and puts his face in my stomach and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. I blush slightly but still play with his hair. Then I hear a "we have arrived at Clover Town, have a good day!" I sigh and pick up our bags, put them on my back and pick up Natsu then drag him off the train. I see people looking at me weirdly but I ignore them. I finally arrive at a city with houses made of wood. I look around, trying to find an inn. I walk up to a woman asking "can you show me an inn?" The woman nods saying "yes, its at the edge of town. Next to the mayor's office." I smile saying "thanks!" Then I head to the inn.

I arrive at the inn and walk inside with Natsu on my back. I smile and walk up to the desk. I get a room for me and Natsu to share, I didn't have enough money for two. I thank the man then drag Natsu to our room. I toss Natsu and he recovers instantly. I frown at his confused face and I say "I'm taking a bath, stay here! We'll go to the mayor tomorrow" Natsu pouts but nods. I head into the bathroom and start the faucet on the bathtub. I takey clothes off and get in the tub when it is full.

I lay in the tub, lost in my own thoughts. I sink further in. I still remember how I met up with Natsu after he left for a year of training. I was a reporter, Natsu was in a cloak. He defeated all of the people in about two punches. I blush as I think on how Natsu melted my clothes off. I shake my head and start washing my hair and body. After I rinse myself off I stand, drain, and get dressed in some pajamas. I walk out of the steamy bathroom while brushing my long hair.

I look at Natsu, who motions me to come over, and sigh. I sit on the bed and in between his legs. I hand Natsu the brush and say "what story this time?" Natsu smiles while brushing my hair. He says "anything" so I smile. This was a routine for us. I get done taking a bath. I hand him the brush, he brushes my hair as I tell him a story. I glance at him saying "I'll tell you the story of the Celestial Fire Dragon, no one but us will know this story." Natsu looks confused but nods.

I take a deep breath and start "there once was a dragon, she lived with her mother, her father died in a war. She was a reject to the dragons. Her mother loved her all the same. Eventually her mother died, she was poisoned by an evil man. So the dragon traveled around the world to lose the man trying to kill her. The man wanted her power. Eventually a hundred years passed and she finally lost the man. She made herself a little human baby and was adopted by a family. But to protect the family, she altered the parents memories. The mother died of an illness. The father ignored her until she had enough and ran away. She met a cat, who could fly, and a dragonslayer. Who took her to a new family. Then, eight years later, the evil man found the Celestial Dragon and is currently chasing her to this day."

Natsu stops brushing my hair saying "Luce, why did you tell me this. Don't give me bullshit." I shake my head saying "to give a message, to tell you a past indirectly " Natsu takes a hair tie and puts it on his wrist saying "who's past then?" I hide a tear saying "its a puzzle, figure it out." The tear falls down my face as Natsu starts braiding my hair. Natsu has actually gotten smarter, calmer, and I taught him how to do hair as well. As Natsu finishes braiding my hair, he ties it in a hair tie. I wipe the tear away and look at Natsu saying "thanks, I'm going to sleep, night" I crawl under the covers. I feel Natsu crawling under the covers and he hugs around my waist. He pulls me into his chest so I smile as he says "Night Luce" then I fall asleep.
