CHAPTER 14!

I walked back to the cafe and saw Shadow still there on his phone with a serious look, he saw me and put the phone away, I glared at the phone "hi" I said sitting down on the seat across "hi" he replied. It was awkward silence for at least 5 minutes, "do you wanna go home now Orr" I asked, he got up and put a $40 on the table and drove me home, the car ride was even more awkward the only sound was the radio hosts talking.

I got out of the car and walked inside without taking a glance back what was up with him, "hey mum" I said walking, "oo cupcakes" I said about take one, she slapped my hand away "those are for the new neighbors" she said going back to cooking something else.

"Hey honey, ooo cupcakes" dad said heading straight towards the cupcakes, mum slapped hi hand away "for the next door neighbors" she said, "like father like daughter" she said, dad looked clue less before she told him what just happened with me. He laughed, gave me a quick hug before going to his room, I followed till I reached my room and say on my bed.

"Summer" I heard my mum yell from downstairs, I ran and saw her with a tray of cupcakes, "can you please take these to the next door neighbors, I have to go tell your dad something" she said running up the stairs.

I glared at the cupcakes, I reached my hand to take one "don't even think about it" mum yelled when she got to the top of the stairs, I rolled my eyes at how well she knows me and walked out the door and made my way to the new neighbors.

I knocked on the door, "who is it" a deep voice answered from the other doe of the door "hey I'm summer crews next door neighbor" I said in a fake happy voice I really did not want to be here, the door slowly opened "DAMON" I yelled placing the tray of cupcakes on the near by rocking chair and giving him a hug. He returned the hug and laughed a little "what are you doing here you skittle poop" I said standing back a bit.

"We moved back here from Chicago about a week ago and stayed with nan for a week till we could find a house" he explained I smiled sweetly at him, "better Not have forgotten about me" I warned "could never, come in" he said opening the door wider, I grabbed the cupcakes and put them in his hand while we walked in.

"Mum made those" I said, he looked up at me with his mouth full of the cupcakes "I can't tell you were never a very good cook" he said and swallowed, "I was too" I said Hitting him. You see Damon and I have been friends since diaper days, he and his family moved to Chicago 5 years ago and I haven't seen them since.

We chatted here and there till I had to go home, "see ya" I said walking out the door "bye see you at school" he said, I gasped "your coming back" I asked shocked, he nodded his head, I chuckled "see ya" I said walking back home.

"Did you like who was there" mum said as I walked in "yeah, hey mum did Tyson Come passed here" I asked in hope I really did miss him, she shook her head no and went back to watching t.v.

I went to my room and picked up my phone, 43 missed calls by shadow and 10 messages

Shadson- hey princess sorry about today hope your not mad.

Shadson- why are you ignoring me I said I'm sorry.

Shadson- pick up your phone!!

Shadson- answer the fucking phone summer I'm not joking.

Shadson- I'm coming over!

That or was 10 minutes ago, I heard a knock on my window and saw Shadow there, he jumped in swiftly and just looked at me "where were you?i called a hundred times" he said, I looked at him dead in the eye,

"I was at a friends and left my phone here" I said showing him my phone "which friend" he asked squinting his eyes "the next door neighbors" I said, "name?" He asked "Damon" I squealed, he face turned red from anger, If we were in a cartoon he would have steam coming out of his ears, "it's a fucking guy" he said in pure anger,

"no but yes his a guy but he's my friend and you can't tell me I can't see him you weren't here at all, you went ice cold and wouldn't even look at me its not cheating ok I didn't do anything" I explained, he looked at me in disbelief, I didn't even see that coming myself, I sat on my bed ignoring that he was even there.

He sat beside me "the girl who walked in today was Jenny my ex, the guy she was with, was the guy who kidnapped Shakira when she was 4, and she knew him that's why my mind went blank and i didn't notice that I
was acting that way towards you" he said I looked into his eyes and saw regret, before my mind could process anything I wrapped my arms around him "next time you be rude to me I won't talk to you for a week" I said laughing wiping away a tear that fell down, he grabbed my face "I won't be rude ever again" he said before smashing his lips onto mine, the kiss went from slow and steady to rough and passionate, I pulled away and late my head on his chest, "I have a question" I said looking up "shoot" "why did you hide your phone when I came next to you" I asked, "that was nothing" he said before stroking my hair again "let's go I wanna show you something" he said getting up, I -followed, "meet you downstairs" he said jumping out the window, "okay then" I muttered to myself, I ran downstairs "mum I'm going out" I yelled running out the door, I looked around trying to find him, I called his name again and still nothing I walked backwards till arms wrapped around me "Boo" he said, I jumped and screamed as loud as possible "don't do that again you nearly gave me a heart attack" I said clutching my hand to my heart, he chuckled lightly "makes me wanna do it again" he muttered "oh no you didn't" I said "oh but princess I just did" he said kissing my cheek, "karma is a pain in the butt you know" I said
at him "well then it's gonna have a hard time putting pain in my but" he said, I chuckled lightly "let's go" he said.
