The comfort of his bed had never been so nice. Taehyung sighs, exhaling all of the stress he had carried through out the day. He buries his head into his comforter until he needs to come up for air, loving the scent of newly washed sheets.
A dinging sound brought him back to reality, and he digs for his phone out of his pocket. He blows a few stray strands of hair out of his face as he unlocks his phone. Taehyung is surprised to find that somebody has requested to follow him on instagram, and he clicks on the app he hadn't opened in ages.
First, he checks his feed for a little while, not surprised to find that almost every photo was one of Jimin's dumb duck face selfies. Taehyung grumbles about the vain people on social media and clicks on his notifications. He looked at the most recent follow request;

The unusual username peeked Taehyung's interest, and he clicks on the person's profile.
"What is this kid, internet famous?" Taehyung whispers to himself, taking in kookiemonster's impressive 11.3k followers. He scrolls through his feed, and clicks on the first selfie he finds.
He didn't smile. The boy stared at the camera with his intense brown eyes, the gaze making Taehyung tense through the screen. His skin was pale like a ghost, the only color brought to his face by his pink lips. Taehyung narrows his eyes at the familiarity of the boys features, and looks at his other pictures.
Soon, he came to a conclusion that it was in fact the new kid, and stared at one of his pictures. It was him staring intently at the screen like the last photo, but this time he was smirking and held up a peace sign casually. The caption was: hmu, looking for some fun ( ;
Taehyung looks at the date of the post, and saw that it was only posted a few days ago. Blaming it on his boredom, he goes to his messenger inbox and creates a new message to kookiemonster.

He presses send before he decides against it and throws his phone to the side.
Regret was starting to set in as Taeyung stares out his window pane in anticipation. He didn't know why he had reached out to Jungkook like that. For some reason, he just felt inclined to, and didn't think twice about it.
He's about to get really anxious when his phone buzzes. Taehyung scoops up his phone and checks his insta messages immediately.

Taehyung furrows his eyebrows in confusion and presses the type here box. He didn't really know how to respond to that. What did he mean by 'DMs'?

Taehyung's eyes widen and he hastily goes back to Jungkook's profile. He mentally curses his recklessness when he sees that he accidentally liked a picture from three weeks ago when he was going through Jungkook's feed.
Even though he knew it was hopeless, Taehyung un-likes the post and retreats back to his messages.

Taehyung groans and collapses on his back in surrender. He couldn't fool Jungkook-- hell, he didn't even know what a dm was.

Climbing under his covers, Taehyung thinks about what Jungkook had said. To be honest, he thought that the new kid was... Cute. But he still had no idea what dms were.
Guess he would just have to message him tomorrow.
