Parth & Niti (PaNi FF) Finally found you !

Chapter 18: Dooriyan

"Parth.." His mom said after some time. "Chalo, doctor has signed discharge papers. Let's go." Niti looked at him and gave a face which clearly indicated that they needed to talk .

"Now?" Parth signalled through his eyes.

"Yes." She nodded and a tear escaped her eye as she recollected last night's events. She quickly wiped it.

Parth's eyes widened in shock to see that. He wanted to know what had made her cry.

"Parth chalo." His mom nudged him, causing him to look somewhere else.

"Kaha chalo?"

"Pune..Chalo. Forgot?"

Parth looked at his mom in disbelief , as if he had totally forgotten about going to Pune and then looked back at Niti, giving her a helpless look.

Niti had made it a point to wash her face properly in the morning. All the crying had made her eyes red, and she didn't want to go in front of him like that. But she needed to talk to him. But...his health was important too.. Maybe she could talk to him tomorrow after he was back? Maybe..

She knew it was going to be difficult for both of them to stay away from each other for two complete days, but that's how it was. Niti had managed an off for him after a lot of negotiation with the production.. But she wanted to be with him during his discharge. She just couldn't see him off like that.

"Chalo Niti. Bye. He will be back tomorrow." Parth's mom said.

"Aai !" He didn't want to go away from her. "Can I stay here?"

"Parth.. You havent recovered fully. Who will give you medicines on time?" His mom asked.

"I will ! Please let me stay back." He protested.

"Aunty is right Parth." Niti added. "She can take care of you better than anyone else can."

For the first time in the entire day Niti had directly spoken to Parth. He felt relieved. Finally after 13 long hours she had taken his name.

"See ! Niti is also saying the same. Stop being a bad boy and chalo. You need to get well soon . " His mom said, and Parth had no option but to go with her. Helplessly. Niti accompanied them till the exit of the hospital .

Parth was standing there, waiting for the cab beside his mom. Niti was standing right next to his mom ! Something was definitely weird. Why was she not standing next to him? He wanted to go to her and kiss her to compensate for the two days he was going to be away from her, but she seemed nonchalant. She didn't seem like she wanted to speak to him..how he wished to stay back and ask her what the matter was. Her face looked perfect, but there was still something latent that she didn't want to reveal...or maybe she didn't have the chance to reveal.

"Chalo Parth." His mom said as a cab halted in front of them. "Bye Niti. " His mom said . "It was good meeting you dear. Come to Pune soon."

"I surely will aunty." Niti said and shook hands with her.

Parth's mom sat in the car asking Parth to sit too. He couldn't go just like that. If not kiss in front of his mom, he could at least hug her tightly before going. Whatever was pinging her, he knew she would tell it to him on his own whenever she felt like..maybe it just wasn't the right time.

His mom wasn't looking. He quickly went to her and engulfed her in a bone crashing hug. Niti didn't quite want to reciprocate. But it happened. Just the way she lost her senses when he came to her.. She started rubbing concentric circles on his back , and another lone tear trickled from her eye.

She had decided , to talk to him ... But after he was back. She didn't want him to not go to Pune because she was upset at him. His health mattered more and somewhere she knew that arguing with her and seeing her sad face would only make him sadder and take a toll on his health too.

Parth hugged her with all the love in the world. As if he didn't want to let her go.. He dug her face in the crook of her neck and planted a soft kiss.

"I'll miss you. " he heard her soft voice.

"I'll miss you too.." Parth said, and Niti unwillingly broke the hug.

"Now jaao. Your mom is waiting." She said, one final time before he left for Pune.

Okay so I managed another chapter ! The reason being I am thinking of winding this ff soonish since lots of work is pending and padhaiiiii too...so will write probably every important instance which will finally lead to Pani revelation on social media !
