Midnight

(Nicks pov)

It was 11:35 when I was already to go.

The drive to green fields was a fifteen minute drive there and I was impatient to go.

I had the money in a classic gray briefcase. And the document of the land in my hand.

I walked out to my car after the goodbyes of the pack members.

Aldo who was the alpha of the full moon pack had agreed to let us stay with them so I knew my pack would be packing while I was gone.

I drove onto the high way going just going over the limit .

11:52 the clock on the dashboard ready I stayed in my car looking over the field.

Green fields was a baseball field with bleachers on either side.

My heart beat picked up when I saw I black van drive to the middle of the field.

I drove down parking just a little bit aways.

Two men cam out followed by another one. They All had masks on making me not able to see there face.

"Do you have it the one in the middle asked. I could tell he was the boss and the one I had spoken to on the phone.

"Yes, where's Heidi" i asked. His all felt weird. I couldn't feel my mate like I usually could.

"In the car" he said .

"Bring her out" I said using my alpha voice I knew it would have no affect but I knew that I scared people.

He just scoffed. "Give me the stuff firsts

"No let me see Heidi"

He snapped his finger and the two men brought out a person with a sack over there head.

I still couldn't feel he pull but maybe it was because i had been away to long form her.

"Heidi, it Nick"I said looking at her.

There was no response. "You've seen her now give me the stuff." The guy I still didn't know said.

I stepped closer to the figure and through the briefcase and paper at him.

He smirked a me " thank you" he snapped his finger again.

And I was knocked to the round. To two men grabbed Heidi an through her in the van.

The weird throng was she didn't even protest or make a sound.

But that was soon forgotten. My heart broke again. I didn't have Heidi and I was so close. I failed an lost everything my land and my mate. The only thin left was me feeling completely empty and bitter.

I didn't get up form my position on the ground. There was pain inside me but I welcomed it.

(Lexi's pov)

I started laughing so hard there were tears in my eyes as I ripped the sack of my head.

"We did it baby" I said to David.

He smirked from the divers seat.

"Of course it did"

"He fell for it" I said looking out the window at his body still on the floor

"He's a idiot, he just lost his land and title of alpha by giving me land"

I laughed along with him. I was getting my revenge on the winter moon pack and I loved it.
