TARA'S POV:

The next I opened my eyes We were at the hospital,I sat outside the emergency room,On the chairs crying,I cant believe my god sent brother,my monu is in that room fighting for his life.

I sat there shell shocked ,not even a word is coming from my mouth,The scene where he dragged me and got hit is playing in my mind continuously,I faintly remember aadi try to console me,But I was in my state of world,mumbling monu now and then.

Just then doctor came out,We both stood up abruptly.

"Monu's family?"....We nodded.

"Well you are very lucky,I think god was on your side today,There is no internal bleeding anywhere,He just has sprain on his leg and bruises on his body,He lost some blood,And we are doing blood transfusion",Doctor said. I couldn't stop myself hearing monu is safe...I fell on my knees and started to cry continuously thanking doctor.

"Dont worry madam,He is fine",Doctor assured me and left.

Aadi came and kneeled beside me,He wiped my tears tenderly.."Dont cry angel he is safe,Now lets get you to eat something",he said in a concerned voice.

But now I was not in a mood to accept his concern,Sometimes when you are angry,You tend to loose your cool,I felt the same.

"You are asking me to eat,Are you crazy?Monu is there on hospital bed,And you wanted me to eat",I literally caught his collar and demanded.I did not stop there..

"Do you know who is he?What he means to me?He understood me like a mother,Took care of me like a father,teased me like a brother,Pampered me like a friend....Do you understand what he means to me,NO YOU DONT!!",I shouted,I know Aadi is not to be blamed,but I was not in my senses.

I remembered the day I met monu..

I was around seven,I was playing in my chawl's park,There were my brother's gang playing cricket,A small boy of five was about to join the group,But the big children pushed him and made fun of him.

That boy has dirt all over his face,His shirt was torn,He went and sat in a corner and silently started crying. I went and sat beside him.

"Friends?",I offered my hand.

"But I am a olphn,I stay at olpanage,Y u want friend with me?",He asked cutely.

"You are orphan because You are a special,And now I will be yoour friend you wont be orphan anymore",I wiped his tears.

From that day we developed a special bond,I used to share food,He used to help me in getting fairy uncle's groceries or other things,We both became very close to fairy uncle...A year passed,One day that boy came cring to me.

"I am bad taalaa,vely bad,Those people who came for adoption did not take me,They said I look uagly,They inchulted me a lott",He cried.I consoled him.

It was my eight birthday,and I only made one wish that we will adopt That boy,But my father denied,we are already poor and cannot afford one more,They also cut my friendship with that boy,I cried and got a severe fever and was admitted in hospital. After some days,I was still ill,I was bought to life by hearing that boy shouting "Taalaaa",Later I got to know,He was adopted by fairy uncle,Because he can afford it,and as he is alone,Monu would be his solace.
