I played Assassin's Creed all day until 5:30pm when I went to the park to see my off my friend who is moving away either tomorrow or the next day to Indiana. My sister and I went to his house before he was even ready to bother him before we even got to the park. Then we and he, and other of our friends made our way down there. We met up with the rest of the guys and played a hide-and-seek game which I knew my little sister would win. She's such a boss, my sister. By the time we had given up and she revealed her location, it was dark out and so our friend who was moving was ready to perform his gloving light show which was pretty legit. His half hour show was to video game music remixes. After that we walked down to his house and the guys had an emotional parting. My sister and I just looked at each other awkwardly. The guys were crying and she and I were just mumbling to each other about how good looking the cat that sat itself upon the front porch looked.
Once they most of them were gone except for one person, I introduced our friend to the wonderful chap hop, and played Professor Elemental from my phone. Chap hop is golden, let me assure you. It's basically British rappers rapping to quirky beats and about the most stereotypical British things. It's wonderful, I love it. And Professor Elemental specifically is a representative of the steampunk community, so his music has been part of my current steampunk obsession.
Besides that guy, I also introduced steampunk music to a new friend I made to day that I met when swinging by around the high school i used to go to. He and the other guy I just recently became friends with are super cool and actually have brains, and I've been wondering where they've been all my life, considering we became friends so quickly, and why I've never seen them around school. Well one of them I saw one time and the other I didn't even know existed, despite him being in my grade and his younger sibling being in my Spanish class for two years. But man, I really like these guys. I've made better friends from that high school by not going there than I did while I actually was going there.
Haha, and despite that, both of my new friends have said it would be so much better if I went to school with them again. I super appreciate that though. Like I said, I can't remember the last time I even made a friend, and despite me being super awkward, these guys don't even mind and still talk to me. Usually people have a problem with my personality. It's such a rarity to find people like me who like me. I've been really happy because of this and I hope these me and these new friends of mine can hang out sometime. In fact I wonder if they are friends with each other. That would be even cooler. I would love spending time with both of them--UPDATE: as I type this I've been told that they are not friends in the slightest. Oh, well. I suppose their personalities are quite different. I still like 'em both the same though.
Speaking of cool things, my parents left my window open while I was out and it was cold and drizzly outside, so my room was freezing cold when I got home, and as I sit here in this room it is still pretty gosh darn cold. Oh, well.
