In this session, we will learn about greeting your せんせい (teacher in Nihonggo) in a formal and proper way. Everytime Nihonggo class starts, there will be an assigned student which will be the leader for the greeting instructions.

1. If the student said きりつ (kiritsu but we pronounce it as kirits) , that means all of the students will stand up.
2. If the student said れい (rei but we pronounce it as le) , it means that all.of.the students will.greet the teacher.
If class is morning from 7am to 10am, you will greet the teacher, せんせい、 おはようございます! (Sensei, ohayougozaimasu!) Meaning good morning.
If your class.is in the afternoon, 10am onwards, you will greet the teacher, せんせい、 こんいちわ! (Sensei, konnichiwa) Meaning good afternoon.
3. After the teacher greeted the students back, the student will say ちゃくせき (chakuseki but we pronounce it as chaksek) , it means that the student are now allowed to sit down.
