To be a writer,
Or to aspire to be,
Is all but succumbing
To a pretentious mirage.
It is redefining the self,
Browsing to occupy the mind,
Mainly with the basis of social reform,
Or the animated enigma of caffeine.
It is about making sad choices,
Becoming a character,
Inept to the mere thought of sanity,
With a lead head and heart,
Full of revolution and injustice.
To be a writer,
Is to always aspire to more,
While intentionally and inversely,
Eroding into less.
