Argument

Sadie glared at him, her eyes filled with angry tears, and Lars looked taken aback by her sad yet angry appearance.

"You told me you were done hanging out with those people! You know how she treats me!"

"Sadie I-"

"No Lars! Not only did you hang out with them and miss our one year anniversary date, you kissed Jenny!"

Lars gulped in air. She kissed him, not the other way around...

"I saw you do it."

"Sadie, you have to listen to me!"

"Why of all people should I listen to you?!"

"Because I love you Sadie! I thought you of all people already knew that I never loved Jenny!"

"Then why did you kiss her?!"

"I didn't! She kissed me Sadie!"

Lars was sobbing by now. How did she not know? Couldn't she tell that he was giving her the honest truth? He looked at her with that same expression as the day on the island. She looked at him, and the two stared at each other, eyes burning with frustration-brought tears.

Sadie pulled back and looked down. This wasn't right.

"I don't think we can do this right now, Lars."

"Sadie?!"

"I think we need a break."
