Chapter 39 - Unbelievable

"I guess wait"

"I already know that" I said

"Sorry, sorry"

"Anyways, how are you and Fran?" I said trying to make a conversation

"Great! Actually, we only got together a few days ago, but I feel like now my life is complete, and I never felt that with Isabella" He said.

"I get it. That's how I feel with Leon." I said and looked down

"You hurt, don't you?"

"A lot. I miss him Diego. His hugs, his smiles, his sweet words...I lost them all because of Tomas!" I said still looking down

"Oh Vilu, don't worry, everything will be fine" He said

"Everybody tells me that, but nothing ever is fine!" I said, burried my face in my hands and sat on the floor.

"Hey hey. Don't worry. You're a strong person, your and Leon's love can handle everything, even if you are apart, you will be together I know it" He said and sat on the floor next to me

"It's just...before Tomas comes, we were really close to each other. And now I feel like we are miles and miles away because of him. We were good friends with Leon before, and maybe we could be together again. But now, the last person he wants to see is me" I said and teared up

"Hey Vilu! Don't cry please! Leon loves you, he truly does! Now he doesn't understand his feelings, they are mixed of love and anger. Soon or later he'll understand that if he lets you go, then he'll never you get back. And that's something he doesn't want" He said and I looked up to him

"Really?" I asked

"Yes Vilu, really. If he doesn't understand that with what he's doing he's sending you away from him, he will make a mistake that he will regret his whole life! I know that soon you'll be together again" He said to which I smiled

"Thanks Diego" I said

He stood up and took his hand out for me. I grabbed it and stood up too.

"No problem. Just remember, anytime you wanna talk and you don't have someone, come to me" He said

"Ok, I will" I said

"Come here!" He said opening his arms and I hugged him.

Just that moment we heard the door opening. Finally someones opens!

Me and Diego pulled away to see Fran and Leon. Oh no! They probably saw the hug. Now they'll think something's going on!

"I can't believe it!" Fran said, shook her head and walked away.

Diego followed her.

"Francesca wait!" He yelled as he ran after her

I looked at Leon who had a hurt look on his face.

"Leon I-" He cut me off

"Don't. I get it you moved on. First with Tomas, now with Diego."

"No Leon, Diego just hel-" He cut me off again

"Just forget it" He said.

He turned to walk away but I grabbed his hand.

"Please! Listen to me! Leon, Diego said good things to me about you, that you still love me and you just need time, and I gave him a hug. Just a friendly one! Can't friends hug each other?" I asked looking at him

"I don't know...I don't believe that you and Diego could be together, not at all, but, what if you fall for each other?" He asked as I looked at him hurt

"Leon, that will never happen, please forgive me!" I said

"I...need...time" He said and walked away.

I looked down ready to tear up. Great! Now my best friend AND my ex boyfriend which is the boy I love think that something is going on with my best friend's boyfriend!

Why is this happening to me?

Tomas' POV

I saw Violetta walking out of the closet. She talked to Leon and he just walked away. Also Fran is mad at Diego, which makes the second part of the plan complete.

And tomorrow, the last part will work, which will make them heartbroken.

How stupid are they? Really stupid. I sent the messages to Vilu and told Diego that Vilu is looking for him.

I also told Fran that Vilu is looking for her in the closet. The same to Leon but for Diego. Luckily, they believed me.

You're probably thinking how I got Diego's phone. Simply, I asked for it saying that I need to call my dad because I forgot my phone at home.

And instead of calling, I sent those texts.

They worked! Actually, I'm doing great alone! I don't need Ludmila's or anyone else's help! I can do it alone!
