Chapter 36 - Hide and seek

"Ok then, I have to go, see ya later Vilu" Tomas said and walked out

Finally, I can talk alone to Leon.

I walked to him

"Leon I wanted to say-" He cut me off

"No, just forget it" He said and walked out of the class too.

I looked down. He wants to avoid me. Maybe I indeed need to give him some time.

I sighed, took my bag and walked out.

I saw Leon talking to the guys. I looked at him and after some seconds he noticed me.

He stared at me for a bit then looked back at the guys. I was hurt. I really want him to forgive me.

I will try one last time to talk to him and if he doesn't want to listen I'll leave him and I'll give him some time.

I walked to the guys.

"Erm...guys? Can I talk to Leon for a moment?" I asked looking at them

"Yeah, sure go on" They said.

Only Fede stayed in silence, looking at me and Leon.

"Guys, she means alone!" Fede said

"Ohh yeah right" They said

Finally, they got it! They walked away, but I could see them.

I turned to Leon. He was looking at me

"Leon, I need to talk to you" I said

"About what? Not about Tomas, please" He almost begged

"Yes, it is about Tomas. I don't love him Leon. Please forgive me" I said to him

"Violetta, we already talked about this" He said annoyed

"Leon, you finished the conversation without letting me explain" I said

"Because you can't. If you can, then tell me. Why did you hang out with Tomas? Why did you ran after him? Why didn't you leave his hands? Why?" He asked looking at me

He's right. I can't answer him. What can I say? That I hung out with Tomas because I was afraid he would hurt him, Fran and Diego? He's not gonna believe me

"I...I...Leon...I..." I didn't know what to say

"Leon what? I said I need some time and then we'll see. I'm going to the guys now" He said and walked away.

I looked at the guys and they gave me sad looks.

I looked down and decided to give him the time he wanted.

Leon's POV

I can't forgive Violetta! I don't know why she did this! She said I didn't let her explain, but what could she say?

Why did she hang out with Tomas? Why didn't she pull her hands away when Tomas grabbed them? Why?

She can't answer. That's why I need some time.

I walked to the guys.

"Hey" I said

"Hey? You just left Violetta alone, hurt!" Fede said

"Yeah, man what's wrong with you? Before some days you wanted to be with her and now you avoid her?" Diego asked

"Guys, Violetta-" Maxi cut me off

"Violetta what? What are you going to say? That she wants you to forgive her because you couldn't be together that day?" Maxi asked

Wait, they have no idea of what happened, do they?

"Guys, that's not why I avoid her" I said

"Then?" Andres asked

"She almost kissed with Tomas" I said as their eyes went wide open and their jaws dropped.

"WHAT?" They asked

"Yeah, it's true" I said

"That can't be happening!" Diego said

"No way!" Maxi said

"So you don't believe me? Ask Francesca and Camilla, let's see what they can say" I said to them

"Ok ok we believe you" They said

"Anyways, we have class. Let's go" I said and we walked to Pablo's lesson.

Violetta needs to understand that I need time. I can't forgive her so fast. She didn't either.

She needs to wait. I hope she understands what I need. Time. Only that.

I just need time...
