Snow Queen

Whispering willow tells tales of the past,

Rushing river keeps a steady song

Daisies and tulips, pansies and roses,

All painting the forest with colors so strong,

One last swim,

Another game in the tall grass

One last dance,

Before Father Time turns the clock half past

The forest is changing,

Splashes of gold, dabs of red

Slow, but steady,

All a sign for that is ahead

Begone long days,

The season of play will go

Farewell short nights,

A period of beauty, before the snow

We will run in the chill wind,

Along with bitter breezes and harsh ice

Pull out the furs to keep the warmth in,

Breathe in the scent of vanilla and pumpkin spice

So long pretty flowers,

Ciao, sparkling stream

See you later tall trees,

For a couple seasons I will miss the green

Here she comes,

Just past the Fall,

Wintry beauty,

bringing a chill for us all

Hello, my Goddess of Ice

I know I'll miss the fall, the summer, and spring

What a while its been

But I cant wait to build snowmen and  make snow angels once again

Oh, what a thing she is so bitter and yet so wonderful

Oh what a thing, my Snow Queen

---

This is a tale of spring, summer, and fall before winter comes to claim them all.
