"Babe wheres my purse?!" Kate asked.
Rick walked out of the kitchen and pointed to the couch.
Kate huffed and walked over making Rick laugh.
"What is wrong with me?!" Kate asked.
"Your just stressed with finals." Kate sighed.
She nodded and ran a hand through her hair.
"Wanna hug?" Rick asked and she quickly nodded.
He smiled and walked over, wrapping his muscular arms around her slowly growing bump.
Kate was now 6 months pregnant, she decided that applying to the force now would be easier, she could start training after the baby was born.
Rick had already gotten Javier and Kevin to help him paint the nursery which they gladly helped, all that was left was the furniture.
Lanie already had that covered.
"I have to get too class." Kate mumbled and Rick kissed her head.
"I know, how about I drive you? I have a meeting with Gina."
Kate nodded.
"How about I take you on a date Katie?" Rick asked and Kate smiled a small smile.
"That would be amazing." She responded.
Rick smiled and kissed her gently before grabbing the car keys.
"Then m'lady, when you return from classes I am going to take you on a romantic date."
Kate smiled. "I can't wait."
"Wait...Why don't you have classes today?" She asked.
"believe it or not, both the professors are sick." he said.
"Oh wow." She laughed.
"If only we were back in highschool." She said and he laughed.
"Those were the best, especially when we were seniors."
He winked and wrapped his arms around her waist. She smiled and looked up.
"Mmm why would that be?"
