"Thanks!" Katelyn grinned, "she'll be fine right?"

"Eventually," Austin nodded.

"She's not going to remember any of this."

"Maybe that's for the best."

Katelyn and Austin fell silent as they ascended the stairs to Ravenclaw tower, as they passed by windows they noticed the stars were shining brighter than usual tonight. Austin paused and studied the stars, he looked down at Emily and smiled slightly before the two started walking again.

"What're we going to say when she wakes?"

"I've been thinking about that," Austin mused, "but...we should wait until we see what she actually remembers."

Katelyn nodded as they made it to the landing in front of the door that led to the common room, she opened the door by answering it's riddle before taking Emily from Austin's arms.

"I'll be out here tomorrow morning, waiting," Austin said.

Katelyn gave a small smile, "I think that's a brilliant idea. Night."

"See you," Austin waved.

Emily rolled onto her side, groaning as she opened up her eyes to find Katelyn dozing with her head resting beside Emily's arm. She was still in her gown as she slept with her head on the bed, Emily prodded her outstretched arms until Katelyn finally began to hit back.

"Quit it," Katelyn yawned, when she saw that it was Emily she moved to sit on the bed and pulled Emily into a tight hug. "Emily, thank god!"

"What happened?" Emily winced when Katelyn let go.

Katelyn looked at her friend and frowned, "what do you remember?"

Emily looked at herself and saw that she was still in her gown from the previous night, "I...I remember....Sebastian making me fight Austin. Is Aussie alright?!" Emily asked, panicking over what became of her brother.

Katelyn laughed and nodded, "yes. Now let's get ready for breakfast, alright?"

Emily took a shower, smiling against the warm water as she washed away the makeup from last night before rinsing out her hair. Ten minutes later Emily was dressed and ready for breakfast, it was a Saturday and the day after the Halloween dance which meant that many students would be sleeping in. Katelyn and Emily exited the common room, coming face to face with Mark, Gerard and Austin, smiling at their arrival.

Emily backed behind Katelyn, noticing that he had a few cuts on his cheek, was that from me? Emily thought to herself.

"Morning you two," Gerard grinned, "let's go shall we?"

Together the group began walking, Katelyn and Gerard walked ahead of the others, Mark walking just behind, leaving Austin to walk with Emily. Emily looked at her brother nervously, they hadn't been alone too much recently, and she knew that Austin was still mad at her.

"Aussie, I-" Austin's arms crushed her into his chest, he smelled like toothpaste as he held her tightly.

"I'm sorry, I let you get hurt...I never meant for any of this," Austin whispered into Emily's hair.

"You're sorry? I'm the one who's sorry!" Emily said baffled as Austin hugged her tightly.

Austin gave a strangled laugh, "I've been a horrible brother to you."

"No, you haven't," Emily took a step away, "I was the horrible one. All you did was let me make my own mistakes....but you still had to save me at the end of the day."

Austin looked at his sister, putting his arm around her shoulders before leading the way to the Great Hall.

"We were both terrible," Austin muttered, "but I was worse."

"No you weren't!" Emily objected.

"Oh yes he was," Katelyn stated.

The Malfoys looked up to see their friends waiting at the bottom of the stairs for them, Gerard and Mark were grinning while Katelyn smirked.

"Let's see...there are...five of us...get one more I bet we can play a game of quidditch," Gerard grinned.

Austin squeezed Emily's shoulder and agreed as Emily nodded, "we'll get Rory."

The group walked to the Great Hall, Rory sat at the table with James and Albus, when they looked up to see the group. Rory was overjoyed to watch Emily sit beside Austin, like it used to be. Rory grinned as he watched the siblings converse like nothing had ever happened between the two, he took a bite of bacon. Loving the feeling of having Austin and Emily back together, Emily was like his sister and Austin was like his big brother, with the two of them apart it felt weird. Now with them actually conversing, everything seemed like it would go back to normal, with time.
