On our way to Hogwarts I couldn't help but wonder what did Mr. Weasley mean when she said that this year something big was going to happen at school. I was looking outside the window of the train cabin not paying attention of what my classmates were talking about, that I didn't hear the first time Pamela called my name.

"Paige?" I turned my head to her with a questionable look on my face. "You haven't said a word, sugar cube, are you alright?" I haven't heard Pamela's accent in such a long time that it made me chuckle.

"Yes, just thinking." I answered before looking out the window again. I hoped she got the hint that I wasn't in the mood for talking, but sadly Amanda didn't.

"About someone?"

"What do you mean?" I turned my head to her this time with straight face. I was still offended by her acts last year. And now since she wasn't dating that boy from Slytherin anymore, she was acting like we've been friends all this time.

"Owh, come on, Paige. Don't play dull, the whole school knows about your love triangle." She grinned as she said it.

"Excuse me?" I didn't hide the anger rising in my voice.

Amanda and Pamela exchanged looks before looking back at me.

"Everybody knows you've got Cedric Diggory and Fred Weasley in your palm." Amanda chuckled out. "I won't lie if I say I never knew you were such a player, Paige." She playfully pushed my shoulder and I was barely keeping my nerves. "So which one is better?"

"Better?" I raised my eyebrows at her and she giggled.

"In bed, you silly. We all know both are good in quidditch." And that was the final drop.

"I am sorry to disappoint you, Amanda, but I don't know. Maybe you should try and find out yourself." I got up from my seat and opened the door to exit the cabin, but before closing it I turned and looked at her. "And there is no triangle!"

For the rest of the ride I stayed in a cabin with Luna Lovegood, she was three years younger than me, but I did prefer her company than Amanda's. At first I found her strange and off to space, but in the end of the ride, I learned that she was in some way wise, too wise for her age.

"Paige!"I heard someone call my name as the train arrived and we all started to get out.

"Cedric!" I exclaimed when I saw who called out for me.

And before I knew it I was lifted off the ground in a warm embrace. I couldn't help but laugh from surprise.

"I am so sorry for leaving you alone in the woods. It was very stupid of me and beyond disrespectful towards you. You needed protection and I left you, forgive me." He said when he let go of me and looked straight into my eyes.

I won't lie, I felt flattered by the way he apologized and I knew he meant it, and the tiny part of me that still liked him was exploding from happiness. I stared at him with parted lips and blushed cheeks. No one ever apologized in such way in my life.

"It's alright." I said before hearing someone else call to me.

"Oi, Daniels." I knew the moment I heard the way he called my name that it was Fred Weasley. No one else addressed me like that and with the famous "Oi". It was cute in some way, but sometimes annoying.

"Well, I will leave you to your friends." With that Cedric walked away and catch up with his friends, who teased him.

"Come on, I saved a spot for you in the carriage." I gave him a nod and followed to where the others were waiting.

Sitting next to him was awkward, yet good. George gave me a look that was telling me to say something, but what?

"Sooo... Fred?"

"Hm?" Lee Jorndan and George were looking at us, as if something big was about to happen.

"How many people are you planning to prank this year." The most silly question escaped my mouth and I knew they all looked at me in disbelieve, but Fred answered anyways.

"As many as possible." He then looked at me like he wanted to say something, but couldn't gather up the strength. "And you, Daniels?"

"Hm?"

"How many books are you planning to read this year?" The two boys standing in front of us gave us an annoyed poker face, while my eyes widened.

And I thought my question was bad.

"As many as possible." I answered the same way and we both returned to looking at the opposite direction for the rest of the ride.
