After the whole saving the earth and Avengers thing, she always pictured laying low and finally getting some alone time with Clint, some relaxation where they would just spend their days growing old together.

She just wasn't sure if Clint wanted the same.

She knew he loved helping people, he loved saving the world, he loved being an Avenger, and most importantly he loved being an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Katherine didn't need to get inside of Clint's head to know that S.H.I.E.L.D. was Clint's life, he loved being a part of the team so she always had her doubts that he would never leave S.H.I.E.L.D. for her.

She turned around to see Clint looking nervous. It could be the fact that she hasn't said a word since they landed. "I know it's not much but maybe together we can make it a home." Clint smiled towards Katherine, looking hopeful as she remained quiet. "Okay I know it's not much or what you're use to but wait until you see what i've done with the rest of the house..."

Clint began walking towards the stairs, asking Katherine to close her eyes. Katherine just smiled slightly as she closed her eyes, letting Clint guide her to where ever they were going. "Okay, one, two, three.." Clint began counting. "Ta-da." Clint gestered for her to open her eyes to reveal the baby room that he had decorated.

It had blue wall paper, with a bunch of boys toys everywhere and a blue crib and a chair where Katherine could read to their baby at night before tucking him or her in. Katherine's eyes went to the toy bow near the crib, she couldn't help but smile at the thought and hope of their child turning out to be like Clint. Turning out good. Katherine moved towards the picture that was hung next to the crib. It was a picture of the two of them. They had taken that picture right after Katherine had joined S.H.I.E.L.D. It was probably the only picture they had together and Katherine couldn't help but have an overwhelming feeling inside of her. "I know it's maybe a bit much but...I was thinking that after the baby's born...we could take a little break...we could maybe take a break from the team and start working on that simple life..."

Katherine couldn't help but laugh as she quietly shook her head, feeling tears form in her eyes from the overwhelming emotion she was feeling. "Please say something..." Clint was now beginning to worry since Katherine hadn't said a word. "Oh my god, you hate it...I knew this was a bad idea. Please just forget everything you saw here and I'll burn it to the ground so you won't ever have to remember it. God, I'm so stupid..-"

"No." Katherine shook her head, smiling as tears were still in her eyes as she interrupted Clint's rambling. "I lo-love it...I love you..." Katherine hugged Clint tight. "You told me that you were hoping we could make this place a home together, my answer to your statement is we can't..."

"Oh.." Clint sounded sad.

"But not because of what you're thinking silly.." She laughed slightly. "We can't make this place a home together because I already have a home." Katherine smiled up at Clint, stroking his cheek with her hand. "You."
