"But it's true, I'm al-" I cut him off with my lips. He immediatly kissed back. He put both hands in my hair and pulled me closer. Jacob pressed his face harder onto mine and hurt my cheek. I pulled away and frowned.

"I'm sorry" Jacob said sheepishly. I smiled and laid beside him.

"I'm so glad this is over. I swear Miley Henderson, if anything ever happens to you again, I'll kill myself" Jacob vowed.

"But that's not fair, you know I hurt myself all the time" I complained.

"I meant something like this" He cleared himself up.

"Don't worry Jakey. It's me and you against the world."

I was reading a book on a chair beside Jacob's bed, waiting for him to get up.

I closed the book and went down in the kitchen.

"Hey Billy" I said.

"Hey there Miley" He said. "Is Jake feeling any better?"

I shrugged. "Not sure, he's still sleeping."

Riiiing riiiing

"I'll get it" I called as I ran for the phone.

"Hello?" I said into the receiver.

"Hi Miley"

I recognized the voice.

"Hi Charlie" I greeted.

"Hows Jacob?" He asked.

"He's good, I think. I mean, he's still sleeping so I don't know exactly how he's feeling."

Charlie chuckled. "Oh, well I'm sure he'll be alright."

I nodded but then realized he couldn't see. "Yeah, I hope so."

"Is Billy there?"

"Yeah, he is" I said then gave the phone to him.

I watched him as he was talking.

"No no, I can't. I need to be here to take care of Jake" Billy said.

"What?" I asked.

"Hold on" He said to Charlie. "He asked me if I could go visit our old friend" He explained

I frowned. "Then go Billy. I'm here. I'll take care of him."

"Are you sure?" Billy asked. "I don't want him to be any trouble."

"He's never trouble for me. Please Billy, I'll take good care of Jakey Wakey" I said.

Billy laughed. "Okay."

I smiled as he told Charlie that he could go. Billy got ready and was ready to leave.

"Bye Billy" I hugged him goodbye.

I closed the door after him and went back upstairs. Right when I opened the door, Jacob was slowly opening his eyes.

He looked at me and smiled.

I smiled back. "How are you feeling?"

He tried to sit up but groaned in pain.

I frowned at the sight of it.

"Just fine" He said with a smile.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Liar."

Jacob laughed lightly. "Come here."
