*Jack's Pov*

I was sat on the couch watching Doctor Who. Lily walked in.

"Hey dad, um, can I go out and meet my friend?" She asked.

"Who?" I asked.

"Annabelle." Lily said. I looked at her.

"Be careful. Off you go." I said.

"Thanks!" She kissed me on the cheek and left.

*Lily's Pov*

I got to Annabelle's house. I knocked on the door. She opened it.

"Come in." I walked and we sat in the lounge. "What's up?" She asked.

"My dad, Jack, says he knows you and Billy." I said.

"What's wrong then?" Annabelle asked.

"I don't want you to hurt them. I wanna protect Jack and Mark. They are my family now." I said. Annabelle sighed.

"Alright. I'll try to stop Billy." Annabelle said.

"I'll help." I said. "I don't care what I have to do. If its to protect my family, I'll do anything."

*Mark's Pov*

I got home from work and went in the lounge. I kissed Jack on the cheek.

"Where's Lily?" I asked.

"Upstairs." Jack said.

"Okay." I went up to her room. I entered.

"Hey dad." Lily said.

"Hey." I said.

"Um dad, when you were out, I came back from hanging out with my friend and Jack, well kinda seemed... sad. Like he looked like he was crying. I also saw blood on his sleeve." Lily said.

"I gotta go talk to him. Thanks!" I ran downstairs. There, on the floor in the middle on the lounge, lay Jack. Blood on his wrists. I cried and ran up to him. I heard Lily walk in.

"Dad?" She asked.

"Call the hospital. Now!" I said. She did. Tears falling down my face.
