*Jack's Pov*

I've been staying at my ma's house for 2 months. Mark keeps calling but I ignore him. I don't know what to do. My ma comes in my room.

"There's someone here to see you, sweetie." Mark comes in. "Please talk." My ma smiles and leaves. Mark stares at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Dark has gone. I've sorted it out." Mark said.

"How?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it. Just... come home. Please." Mark said. I run up and hug Mark.

"I missed you." I said.

"I missed you too." Mark said. We soon got back home and we went in the lounge.

"Jack, I've been thinking. Tell me I'm insane but... I wanna adopt." Mark said.

"Really?" I asked. Mark nodded. I hug him. "I want to as well." Mark kissed me.

- Two days later -

Its been two days since me and Mark talked about adopting. Mark has been out for an hour. I heard the door open. I went to see him. He was holding a bag and a girl was next to him. She had black hair, blue eyes and long hair.

"Jack, this is Lily. Our child." Mark said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah. She's fourteen years old." Mark looked down at Lily. "Lily, this is your other dad." Lily smiled. She ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Thank you." Lily whispered. I hugged her tighter. We showed Lily her new room. We left her to unpack.

"Thank you for this, Mark." I said.

"Its okay. We can be a proper family now." Mark said.

*Lily's Pov*

I put some of my poster on my wall. Like bands. Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy and Twenty One Pilots. I got in some new clothes and went downstairs. I heard my dads talking about something. I listened in.

"Do you think anything will happen? Like Billy will come again?" Jack asked.

"Its okay. I'll protect you and Lily. Promise." Mark said. I was shocked. Billy? What could he have done to them? I need to protect them. No matter what.
