Some monsters are born.
Some are created.
And some fall in love.

"Qubool hai..."
The words left her lips. Her soul never agreed.
A tear slipped from beneath her lowered lashes and disappeared into the embroidered veil covering her face. The hall erupted with prayers, People smiled, blessings filled the air. No one noticed that the bride looked as though she had just attended her own funeral. She clenched her trembling hands together.
She wanted to ask fate one last question.
"Why me?"
But fate had never answered anyone.
The Qazi said, the nikah was complete, She was now someone's wife.
A stranger, A man she could never understand,The groom rose from his place with effortless grace. His face carried no joy, no relief. No excitement.
Only an unreadable calm, he stopped beside her. The room buzzed with laughter as relatives congratulated the newlyweds, he bent slightly.

Miles away...
Rain crashed endlessly against the marble floor. A man stood before a weathered gravestone, his trembling fingers brushed across the engraved name as though he feared it would disappear.
His lips parted.
"Zoya..."
Silence answered, his breathing became uneven.
His shoulders shook.
"I came back..."
Another whisper.
"I kept my promise."
His voice cracked.
"But you didn't."
His knees finally gave up beneath him, years had passed. Yet time had never moved for him. Someone wrapped trembling fingers around his hand.
A woman, she had seen this pain countless times. Still, it broke her heart every single time.
"Please..."
Her voice was barely audible.
"Enough."
He closed his eyes, For a moment...
He almost believed he had heard a familiar laugh carried by the wind. When he opened them again... Nothing. Only emptiness, Only regret, Only a wound that refused to heal.
...
That same night... A black envelope was quietly slipped beneath an old wooden door, Inside it rested a single photograph, One face had been carefully burned away.
The remaining face wore a smile. Across the picture, someone had written only five words.
"The game begins once again."
...
In another city...
A locked room remained untouched.
No one entered.
No one dared.
Dust covered every corner except one small wooden box placed neatly on a table.
Inside the box lay a dried white rose.
A silver bracelet.
And a letter.
Still unopened.
