Trapped

I find it hard to breathe

Trapped in a black hell.

Stuck with nowhere to go

I'mcaged in this cell.

No walls hold me within

No bars block the way.

Yet I'm captured by darkness

With no light of day.

Smothered in this jail

This maze in my mind.

With never ending dead ends

A way out I can't find.

A prisoner to lost loves.

Memories

Memories flood my mind

Drowning in sorrows pain

My thoughts run rampped

I feel like I'm going insane.

Remembering the moments

That made me fall for you.

A smile crosses my face

Then a tear, remembering we're through.

How can two people

Connect in every way

A bond created

But only to slip away.

I'm at a loss for words.

Love should be deserved

But the heart knows not the law.

It feels not with hands

Or your falseness I could have saw.

I lift my hat to you

The grand master of shattered dreams.

My world is ending

Or so it seems.

Wishing I could hate you

For everything you've done.

Wishing I could open up

But yet I run.

Afraid to open up

Frightened of fates blow.

So until my fear vanishes

My true self will no longer show.

What I Really Need To See...

Does my voice make you smile?

Does my smile drive you crazy?

Does my touch bring you peace?

Does that peace ease your pain?

Do you yearn for my company?

Do you need me when I'm not there?

Do you remember falling in love?

So to make things more simple,

What I really need to see...

Is, do I make you as weak

As you make me?

Breathless

You leave me breathless

With only a look from your eye.

I feel complete in your presence

And I can't explain why.

I'm weakened by your voice

With you my fear melts away.

You've left me no choice

By your side I'll always stay.

Your kiss makes my lips quiver

And it's easy to see,

That when you touch me, my body shivers.

It's like your soul touches me.

Speechless

Sorry for you

That my colors have blinded your way.

Unsure of what to do

Speechless as to what to say.

I know I've caused you pain

When I gave you my love.

And along with it was strain

But it was me I was thinking of.

You were all I wanted

I saw you and I had to have it.

Now to you my thorn has tainted.

And your heart I cannot get.

Sorry for you

Speechless.

I found these written on scrap pieces of paper. Obviously they were written at different times in her life. The one that touches me the most is Speechless. She thinks it was her that caused him pain, not the other way around. I know she must have said things to hurt him too, but I can't imagine that happened often because he got physical with her when she mad him angry.
