Imagine defending yours and Damon's relationship to Caroline.
"y/n what do you even see in him?" Your friend Caroline asks you over lunch at the grill.
"Every little action he does makes me fall in love with him even more. The way he can be so heroic and ass at the same time." You chuckle to yourself
"The way he holds me at night and makes me feel safe. When he whispers to me he'll keep me from harms way and then goes out the next day and does everything in his power to keep his love ones safe. The way he kisses me and says my name, the way he buttons up his shirt." You trace over your lips with your finger remembering Damon's lips there last night.
"He's selfless, kind, gentle, warm and a badass at the same time." You look up to see a teary eyed Caroline.
"Your in love with him aren't you?" Caroline asks you smiling. You turn to look at the bar were you see the back of a leather jacket and raven hair. He turns around and smiles at you
"Yeah, yeah I am" You say still looking at Damon knowing he was listening tot the whole conversation.
