The Baby Project: Book 1

Chapter 2

Emma's POV

Ugh I can't believe I'm stuck with him for this project, really?! It's so not fair I'm going to fail this class!

"Woah some one looks cranky" Eric said as we started walking to lunch

I've managed to have my "baby" stay quiet for four periods so far which was good. My teachers all know about the project so they let the students that are doing the project take care of the baby during class.

"Shut up, Blake isn't helping at all! We are in almost all the same classes so far and he didn't even glance at me or the baby!" I cried

"Wait Blake? As in the Blake Stevens?" Eric asked raising his eyebrows

"Yeah the one and only" I replied as I rolled my eyes

"Well go and talk to him or the teacher" Eric told me shrugging his shoulders

"Fine, I guess I'll go and talk to him" I sighed

"Emma, be careful I don't trust him" He said with a worried expression

"Ok dad" I laughed

I left Eric to go find my baby daddy Blake Stevens.

If I was a bad boy where would I be?

He is probably outside eating since we practically have the same schedule I guess. I walked outside to find no one but trees and empty benches. Of course.

I have a really bad and scary idea of how to find him.

I'll get a detention.

Ok yes, I could just wait outside the door until it's over but the thing is I know he'll just walk past and ignore me. I have to sit down and talk to him, in detention. No, I can't do it nope not going to happen, but I have too. I hate this. Ok Em, listen to me you are going to get a detention so you can talk to Blake and hand him our baby. Yeah ok I can do that.

And now I'm talking to myself. Great.

The bell rang signaling that the period was over. I grabbed my books and my baby and headed to my next class.

"Why does it look like you won the lottery?" Angie asked smiling

"I got a detention!" I cheered

"What?! You got a detention? How?" Angie asked with a horrified expression

"I told my teacher he was stupid! I feel so bad!" I jumped up and down with excitement making the doll let out a fake laugh

"You are so innocent Em! You think that's bad?" She laughed

"Shut up, I needed a detention!" I defended standing normally again

"Okay? Well calling a teacher stupid isn't that bad" She said still laughing

"Well excuse me I got a detention to serve" I said waving her away

And with that I was off to detention.

The walk to detention was quicker than I thought. I wonder what it's like in there. Is it like the movies where the teacher is asleep and all the bad boys are like animals? I guess we will find out.

I opened the door and found that there was a teacher who was wide awake. Thank God. There were about 10 students, some I knew from my classes but a few I have never seen in my life. All the kids had the same bored expressions on their face which didn't really surprise me.

"Ah, Miss Starr glad you can join us " the old teacher said gesturing me to come in and take a seat.

I sat down next to Blake in the back. You could tell by his face that he was confused and shocked. Perfect.

"Alright now behave I'm going to go to the teachers longue. I'll be back" the teacher said

Wait what? He's joking right? He can't possibly leave me alone with all these troublemakers.

As soon as the teacher left Blake decided to turn his body towards me with an amused smile plastered on his face.

"So why are you here Princess?" Blake smirked

"None of your business Blake. I'm here to talk to you." I spat back

"Oh what an honor, go on spit it out." Blake said in sarcastic tone

"You have to help me with our baby I don't want to fail this class all because you refuse to help" I told him

"Okay" Blake simply answered

"Really I don't wa- what?! You will help me?" I asked in a surprised tone

"Yeah sure I need to pass too" Blake shrugged

"Um okay? Well thank you. Do you want to come over my house so we can work out a schedule?" I asked

"I'll be at your place at 7" and with that he walked out and left. What the fuck just happened? Blake Stevens actually agreed? And now he's coming over tonight? hold up did He just leave detention? I have to start getting used to him.
