Chapter 5

Will looked at his old watch as he exited the plane in his tailored grey suit holding two carry-on bags. He continued to walk through the airport, heading out the exit doors. He looked at each side until he spotted his driver, Von mid-fifties, waiting by the car. Von popped open the back trunk. Will, reached the car and dropped his bags in the trunk.

"Thanks Von! Von, I'm going to head to the office instead." Said Will. As he entered the back seat of the car.

"OK boss." Said Von. He pressed the button that closed the trunk. Von walked over to the driver side, entered and proceeded to drive off. 

"Daisy, I'm back in town. I'm heading into the office now to pick up my car. I had Kelly pick up clothes and other things that I would need for this trip. If everything goes as planned, I will be there thirty minutes before it starts. Okay, talk to you later!" As Will left a message for Daisy. He then continued to look through last-minute things on his phone that required his attention.

Lilly's hotel shuttle pulled up to a tuscan style hotel villa called the Lavender Hotel. The driver parked at the drop-off area. Lillie exited the car as a bellhop stood with a luggage trolley. The driver instructed something to the bellhop, he began to take out two midsize luggage's out of the car and puts them on the trolley. Lillie followed the bellhop into the hotel while carrying her small carry-on bag.

Daisy is laying down on the sofa watching television. Dan sits on the armchair next to her, working on his laptop. Daisy's cellphone next to Dan's laptop rings. He views the screen and hands it to Daisy, and continued to work on his laptop. She took the phone and saw its Lillie calling. She puts the phone on speaker.

"Lillie." Daisy cheerfully greeted her as she tried to sit up but gives up on the third attempt.

"I've checked in. The front desk manager, Emily, has given me an itinerary for me and the other guest." She informed Daisy.

"The other person is running late." Daisy replied.

"Oh, Maureen? It's fine. And what kind of experiment is this again? I can't make sense of what I'm reading."

Dan tried to hold his laughter.

"They said, it's a learning experiment of oneself." Daisy added.

Dan stands, not being able to control his laughter, runs into the next room. Daisy tosses a pillow in his direction.

"Remember to take pictures, really immerse yourself in the experiment. My readers will love this. It's only a year old." Daisy explained.

"Daisy, I've got to tell you. This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Maybe we can have girls getaway later or a friends and family gathering." Said Lillie.

Lillie ended the call as she exited the elevator after the bellhop and proceeded to walked down the hallway and stopped in front of her room. The bellhop opened the door to her room and picked up her luggage off the trolley and walked into her room. He set her luggages down next to the desk and sets her keycard on the table.

Lillie entered with wide eyes as she scanned the room after handing the bellhop a ten dollar bill. He thanked her and left with the trolley. She opened the French doors to the connecting room, taking a look around, and walked back into her room. She noticed a welcome note and fruit basket on the table as she walked out onto her balcony and saw the beautiful view of the gardens, the various seating areas as well as the outdoor dining area.

Matt and Donna are finishing their meals at the outdoor restaurant. Matt's favorite spot because many rich people favor the restaurant. Which is across the street from W. Stanford Financial Group. Matt, hoping to catch the rich billionaire, Will Stanford at the restaurant to pitch his project.
