By the time Jack Darby and his wife, Miko Nakadai, arrived at June's doorstep, Megatron was already standing by the door, human disguise in place, and welcomed them inside. The air was warm with morning light, yet thick with anticipation.

"Tetsu and Kaycee are at school," Jack said quietly as they entered. "So it's just us for now."

Megatron nodded, gesturing toward the living room. "Good. Let's sit and talk."

The five of them—Megatron, Novastar, June, Jack, and Miko—settled into the living room, the silence stretching for a heartbeat before Jack spoke.

"Mom... I already told Miko everything. About the pregnancy." His tone was calm, almost matter-of-fact, but the gravity of the news lingered in the air.

Megatron's optics softened as he looked at June. "Yes... about that." He cleared his throat, a mix of embarrassment and responsibility coloring his tone. "It seems we... forgot to use protection. Now our unborn child will be younger than Jack and his children."

June's hand trembled slightly, and she exhaled shakily. "I... I didn't mean for this to happen. I was scared... I didn't know how to tell you all."

Miko leaned forward slightly, concern etched across her face. "Megatron... Novastar... June... does Orionus Prime know about his unborn half-sibling?"

Jack shook his head. "No, we haven't told the others yet. It's too shocking, and we wanted to make sure we had a plan before anyone else found out."

Novastar reached over, placing a reassuring hand on June's arm. "This child is not a burden, June. Megatron loves us both, and we will do everything to support you."

Megatron nodded in agreement, his optics steady. "We will face this together, as a family. One step at a time."

June felt a small weight lift from her chest, the fear still present but softened by the steady presence of the family around her. "Thank you... all of you. I was so scared, but... knowing you're here makes it easier to face."

Jack placed a hand on his mother's shoulder. "Mom, we'll get through this. Together."

Miko nodded, her gaze firm yet warm. "Yes. And when the time comes, we'll help you tell the rest of the family. We'll handle it carefully, with honesty and love."

The room was quiet, but this time it was a comforting silence, the kind that comes from shared understanding and the knowledge that, no matter how unexpected life might be, they would face it together.

A month had passed since the news first rippled through the family. June Darby sat nervously in the passenger seat of Megatron's vehicle as they drove to the hospital. Her hands twisted in her lap, a mixture of excitement and anxiety coiling tightly in her chest. "Are you nervous?" he asked softly, his voice steady but gentle.
